Alfredo’s POV

It took Mom two days before she held the meeting. A waste of time, it was in my opinion as I walked to the meeting room with my beta, Sarah, in tow.

“Is alpha Brian present?” I asked as we took our time to the meeting room. Sarah had made it her duty to make sure I was never late for another meeting after my first. I was sure my mother had something to do with it.

“He came a few minutes ago,” she answered as her hands scoured the phone in her hands, multitasking with the piece of paper in her hand.
