Chapter Eleven

JASON

I was glad that I had finally gotten rid of Bethany. Not that I had anything against her....but at the rate she was going, it was beginning to piss me off. After we had been left alone, she had tried to get me to make love to her in my father's office! Where at any moment, anybody would have walked in on us, and I didn't even want to think about how the words would have spread like a wild fire. That wasn't how I wanted to begin my time here.

Although, on a normal day, and in my own office, I would have given in, especially when she made that purring sound I liked. But she had done that. And to my surprise, I hadn't reacted at all.

I had just blamed the stress and finally kissed her, just so she wouldn't feel hurt.

It had to be the stress. And the sooner I was settled, the sooner I was going to relieve myself of all the pent up tension I had going down there.

I quickly checked my wristwatch and seeing I had five minutes before the meeting, I got up and made my way to the boardro
