CH:4 All Of You

Zane and Claire were quiet standings in the office. His arms wrapped around her body. He heard her sobbing, he can not see her face. She is crying! Zane grabbed her shoulders and then made her look toward him. 

The tears ran freely over her cheeks.

"Please, don't cry. You know, I can not see you like this... It will only hurt me." His hold was tight on her body. Zane is stating the truth. He can not see Claire sad. 

Loosed by unthinking, Zane closes the distance and tugs, Claire, into a tight embrace. His frame engulfs her, melding them together as Claire instantly returns the clasp around his middle gripping tight. Zane felt Claire's face press into his chest, her tears dropping down on his heart. Zane's forearms are locked around her small back, trembling. His cheek lowers down to press against Claire's head.

"Please, don't cry." Zane's words muffle into Claire's hair. The warmth of his breath and his embrace is giving her comfort. Claire's arms squeeze around him.

"You are here with me?" She asked unbelieved. Her fingers dig into his back.

"Yes, I am here with you," Zane said biting back the urge to repeat it again. Shaky tears spring into the corners of Claire's eyes.

"Zane, you're mine," She demanded her voice breaking. She sobbed. 

Zane's heart pounds, the rhythm emanating from deep in his core. Close in his arms, tight to his chest, Claire breathes into him. His eyes flutter shut. This is too good to be true. "I..." Zane's words slip away.

"I...can...No...t be..." He stopped the moved her away from his body.

"Claire, this is not right. I can not be here. I can not be with you. I am sorry..." He said looking into her eyes. AND his heart dropped when he saw the amount of pain that appeared in those orbs. Claire is watching him in utter shock and disbelief.

"I thought, we will be fine. It's been five years... Please, don't run away from me. Accept it, we have time. We can live our dreams together... Please, don't do this to me." Claire said. The tears dripped down from her eyes. The plea in her voice rattled through the frame of Zane's chest. The addictive sweet voice of Claire is making it so difficult for him to escape from this situation.

"Why don't you understand Claire? How is it even possible? How can we..." He tried to reason with her stuttering in his own words. 

"You hate me that much?" She looked down asking this question to him, Zane felt as if the oxygen left the earth. It becomes impossible for him to breathe. Hate her? He will die before forming this feeling for claire in his heart. Zane's eyes openly rake across her face. She is not looking at him. He pulled forward again. Zane's arms wrap tightly around her waist, bones cutting into his t-shirt. The unexpected hug startled Claire. Her hands float in suspended caution until they slowly return to wrap around his low shoulders. Warmth filters between every inch of their touch.

"You know, I can never hate you. I will die before even thinking bout it." He told her the truth.

"So, why run from me? You said you need time. Five years aren't enough for you? Zane, I can not wait anymore... Please, don't do this to me." She is now calming down and asking him the questions he is so afraid of...

"Claire, please..." He doesn't have the answers to her questions.

Claire's mouthparts to respond, but she hesitated and draws her brows together with a guarded expression. It created a thick silence between them...Zane separates from her immediately. It created enough space between them to balance their clipped breathing and ease the sharp nerves that had suddenly collided. Zane's shoulders lose their tense stature, he knows the movement was the right idea.

"I think, I should leave," Zane said and turned around. 

"I did everything for you. All for you... I can not stay away from you anymore. Five years, I haven't bothered you. I knew all about you. But, I was away because you were happy. But, now I can not do it anymore... Think of me as a selfish bitch. But, I can not see you with another woman. You are mine, Zane." He heard her say to his back. 

"We are destined together, AND we will be together. You can not run away from this... Zane, this time you have to accept it..." She said then went towards him. She came in front of him and then grabbed him by the collar. The tension between them is unbearable. Zane breathed heavily looking into her eyes. AND Claire pressed her lips to his in a deep passionate kiss. It was impossible for him to stay away from this sensation. He returned her kiss with the same intensity. 

They both were deeply drowned in pleasure when suddenly someone opened Claire's office door. A man came inside. 

"Oops... Wrong timing..." He said. Zane immediately moved away from her, Claire grabbed his hand not letting him go. 

"Brother, what are you doing here?" She asked looking at the boy. 

"Sister, don't tell me, you did all of this for this HUMAN..." He screeched looking toward Zane in disgust.
