Master Abigor's steed was a big, black and healthy stallion with a coat that shined in the moonlight. It obeyed every command and galloped in such a manner as though it could see in the dark.
Master Abigor had his arms wrapped around my body, holding me close to his build as he gripped the reins of the horse to direct its way.
What started off as a frightening ride, turned into a wonderful and fun filled experience. Even though we had yet to say any words to each other I enjoyed the way I could feel the strong muscles of the steed move with each confident gallop through the forest.
My eyes looked around at all that we passed, taking in the inside of the dark forest that I would only gaze at fro
I laid in the warm water that was slowly becoming cold, lost in my thoughts and doubts. Master Abigor was a dark, arcane and mysterious man who no doubt certainly had to have secrets. I felt every time he said words to me, they held a secret meaning that I were supposed to pick up on.But what could the secret possibly be?It was eating me alive because I knew that there was something he wanted me to find out or know about, but what could it be? Why should he be so secretive about it? Can he simply not tell me what it is that he needs me to know?I realize that he possibly loves to watch me struggle. I see the amused gleam in his eyes whenever he utters his alluding words. Master Abigor drives me to insanity, from his dark words with an underlying meaning to his touches and kisses.I can still feel h
I sat on the edge of Master Abigor's bed nervously twiddling my thumbs as I avoided his gaze and tried my best to appear as calm as could be. He had called for me at the time of sunset and I made my way to his chambers."The wedding preparations are underway," he confidently mentioned as he walked around the bed, holding out a glass filled with wine and I accepted the glass, needing whatever it may be that may help me to not give anything away.I would hate for Master Abigor to find out that I were a thief and prying around his private matters, "that is pleasant to hear," I responded dryly, struggling to articulate words as I avoided looking him in the eye.His body was standing in front of me and I hoped that he would move away and not be so close to me. He placed a cold finger beneath my chin and I was forced to meet his eyes as he lifted my chin up.I peered up at him, his green eyes holding
When my eyes snapped open, I found myself laying in Master Abigor's bed. My eyes looked up at the chandelier above my head as the memories from last night hit me as hard as a stone being hurled at my head. I brought my hand shakily to my neck, remembering the searing pain as Master Abigor bit me.As my finger ran along my skin, I felt a very distinct marking and that is when I knew that it had not been a dream. I had been awake...Master Abigor was truly a vampire as I had stated. At the sudden realization my heart began to race and my eyes widened but I was unable to move my body. I wanted to sit up and run out of here, to never return to this monster. He seemed to hear the chaos that had been in my mind because he appeared and I simply looked at him with wide eyes, "my Aphrodite," he so smoothly praised my name on his tongue. It was shocking how such a beautiful man could be such a monster. I
"Wha-what does that mean? To be a disgrace, to be fallen?" I asked him, my voice breaking through the levelled atmosphere that his own tone has created. His voice was like a lullaby, silencing any bit of distress around him.Master Abigor was still straddling me and his cold hands were on my waist, holding onto me securely as his face was inches from mine."To vampires, humans are considered as inferior. We consider humans as filthy, weak and unworthy of the power that you have. Yet, we live amongst you because you are our source of pleasure and food. Vampires are meant to be with vampires. That is the way that it has to be," he paused, his eyes glancing over every inch of my naked body. I could see his orbs darken before he seemed to gain control over his body, "so when a vampire mates with a human, or claims a human, they become a disgrace. It is like a spit in the face of the power a
The world looked different as I stepped out into the garden and shielded my eyes from the bright sun with my hands."Will it hurt?" I asked Abigor as I let him rest his head on my bosom. The action, strangely, made me feel at ease. It calmed me down after all the fright I had felt."Death...hurts, a lot," he responded and the vibrations that came from his speaking shook me to the very core. I was still unable to move but at this point, I realized that moving was futile because even if he had not done anything to my body, I would have been frozen in place. This time as I looked at the flowers, I willed myself to feel.I pressed my hand to my chest, soothed by the sound of my beating heart that banged against my chest. I sought solace in the simple action as I took in a deep breath and for
"Lydia!" I proclaimed in joy and relief as I set my eyes on my close friend who seemed unharmed. I threw my arms around her neck and brought her close to my body, enjoying her familiar scent that soothed me.She giggled a bit, uncomfortably holding me for a short moment before she finally relaxed in my arms and gently patted my back, "you seem to have missed me so, Lady Aphrodite."I could not help the tears that escaped me as I buried my face in her shoulder, "what have I told you about calling me Lady Aphrodite?" I scolded her half-heartedly, refusing to lift my head from her embrace.Even though Lydia and I were only a few moons apart, she felt much like a mother. She had always been there for me in my hardest moments and in my best moments. She had to take on a lot of responsibility when it came to me. She had the role of being my friend and being my mother. She would nurse me when I was si
I stood in the centre of Abigor's bedroom chambers. There was a blanket laying on the floor, and atop the blanket was a variety of food choices and drinks. The entire room was dark and the only light that illuminated the room and allowed me to see the person in the room with me were the candles that were in a circle around the blanket.I should be sitting on the floor, dining with Abigor. Yet Abigor was circling me slowly. I could feel the heat of his gaze as he looked me up and down from every angle.I wore a white silk dress, one that was the definition of temptation.I know not what came over to warrant such actions but I enjoyed when I brought a reaction out of him. It brought a smile to my face to know that a simple woman such as myself could have such an effect on a vampire.&nb
There was a hush in the air as I clutched the fur coat tighter around my body to shield myself from the cold. Yet, the cold was far from my mind. I was very much aware that some person else occupied the room with me but I cared very little for that. All I cared for was the creation before my eyes.My wedding dress.Unlike the outrageous ball gowns that I am always dressed in, this dress was an A line with no extra tulle to make it appear bigger. I could tell that if I were to wear it, it would not weigh the same weight as my ballgowns with iron rings underneath.Instead, the dress had beauty in its simplicity. Sleeves were non-existent, a simple sheer that matched with my skin tone were on the shoulders of the mannequin to show how the dress would sit on me. The dress was made from a bright and white lace, and the dress was slightly transparent. It was the back that took my breath away. The ill
