Chapter -4

Raghav :

I enter inside my mansion after parking my car in the garage. I saw everyone that is my mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law sitting together in the hall talking something. But when they saw me they stopped whatever they were doing. I walk towards them and asked

''What you guys are *sneeze* doing??'' And sat on the sofa.

''Noth..nothing.'' My mom replied. Let me tell you whenever she stammer that means she's lying and did something blunder.

''Stop acting *sneeze* and tell me the truth.'' I said and saw everyone sharing glances.

''I said na nothing and why you're so late?? You haven't even ate your lunch and now it's almost dinner time. Look at yourself you're becoming thin day by day. Go freshen up and come downstairs.'' She said to me without even letting me speak.

My Mom's i tell you for her, her children's are always small no matter how much you grow up. She'll always care for us like a small baby. I guess every mother is same like her. Breaking my thought she asked me

''Why your clothes are wet??''

''Mom...*sneeze*.''

Well like other mom's my mom also possessive about us. Well a little more towards my sister compare to me. If i tell her truth she'll get angry and it is not good for her health. I sneezed again and signal my sister to save me from the situation.

''Mom...look at him. He is sneezing and you're asking him questions. Let him go and freshen up. And........'' She said to mom but i don't at the end what did she said to her whispering that she nodded her head send me to my room.

After taking shower, i went downstairs and started eating dinner. Everyone was exchanging glances and i know they're hiding something. So i asked everyone to tell me the truth without hiding anything.

''Actually your... Your sister told me that...that you agree for...umm...for Marrige. So......i...i choose a girl for you and in excitement i inform girl's family  that we're going to see her tomorrow.'' She said giving me her puppy eyes.

''What?? *sneeze*  what did you do?? *sneeze* Why?? *sneeze* i didn't agree for Marrige. *sneeze* '' i said continue sneezing.

''Raghav listen.....wait why you're sneezing so much??" Mom asked me.

''Mom please!! *sneeze* don't change the topic. And you...this is your surprise.'' Looking at my mom and sister angrily i left to my room. They were calling me but i didn't paid any heed.

Coming inside the room and i went towards my balcony and sat there. After two minutes i heard a knock on my door. I know it's my sister. I didn't said anything but she enter inside with her puppy i mean her husband.

''Brother. No. Listen to me first before you speak. When i spoke to you yesterday, you agreed for Marrige. I know, i know you just agree for the whole marrige concept. But you know mom how she's. I just told her you agreed. I didn't knew that she would prepared everything in one day. Otherwise i would have told her later.'' She told me. Whenever i tried to say something she just shut me up showing her hand.

''You're not understanding *sneeze*  It's...it's i don't know how can i *sneeze* explain to you.'' I said to her.

''Brother. It's not bad as you're thinking. You can ask him.'' She said to me pointing her husband who was busy in reading medical journal.

''What the hell are you doing??" She suddenly shout at him. In fear, the journal fall down from his hand.

Poor guy I mentally thought and laughed at him. I asked him

''Are you sure, you're her boss??" Controlling my laugh.

''He is my boss inside the hospital premise. Once we crossed it then i became the boss. Right, husband??" My sister replied and asked her husband for confirmation.

''Yes, Ma'am!!'' He mocked her.

''Brother-in-law, your sister is right. It's not that bad. At least after getting married you won't call your sister every other day.'' He said to me for which he earn a smack from my sister.

''Brother, I know you're not prepared for this early. But one day you have to go and meet girl for Marrige. So, why not tomorrow?? Moreover, mom informed the girl family, it won't look nice if we cancel it now. I heard they were going somewhere but returned from the halfway because of this. Please Say yes, brother.'' She asked me showing her puppy eyes.

''You know i can't say no *sneeze* to you.'' I replied.

''Really?? Oh God! Please make sure tomorrow everything goes smoothly and he say yes for the girl.'' My brother-in-law prayed and this time i throw the cushion on him.

''What??" He asked me innocently.

''Seriously?? Why you're so desperate to marry me off ??" I asked him.

''So that you can left my wife.'' He replied glaring at me and i raised my eyebrow.

''What?? Don't you want niece or nephew??" He asked me. I got toung tied. My sister was looking at him like he has grown two horns. To remove this awkwardness i asked my sister

''Well...what is the surprise you *sneeze* were talking about?? Don't tell me that meeting the girl was the surprise.'' I just asked her simple question, i don't know why she turned beet root red.

''No, no. Well you see...i...i am Not feeling well from few days..'' ''What??'' Her husband and me shouted together.

''Why didn't you told me?? Are you okay??'' Her husband asked her.

''What okay?? Let's go to the doctor now.'' I said taking her hand.

''Let me speak, you idiots.'' She shouted suddenly.

''I was not feeling well. So, i checked up with a doctor and she run some tests and...'' ''Is that serious?? Why you didn't inform me?? Don't you feel like to share with me?? I'm the stupidest person on the earth. How can i not notice that??'' Her husband again interrupt her. And i literally saw smoke coming out from her ears.

''Yes, it's serious because i'm pregnent And it's your fault you dumbo, stupid monkey.'' She shouted.

''Ravi...'' "Don't touch me you buffalo.'' Smacking his hand she left from there.

After like few minutes we both registered what she said and look at each other before shouting. We hugged each other and left downstairs dancing, laughing and shouting.

''What happened to you both??" Mom asked us.

''Mom - Dad, Ravi is pregnant. You guys are going to be grandparents.'' Prithvi inform my parents and walked towards my sister and he hugged her tight. Later we all hugged her and congratulate her before going back to our rooms.

I am really really happy because my dear one's are happy. I can't describe it. For the first time i saw Prithvi in tears. Looking at them, for the first time i felt i also want a family. Let's see what my future holds for me.

With this thought i closed my eyes but i opened it instantly. I don't know why but i saw the same honey brown eye girl. Her beautiful eyes are coming infront of my eyes like a movie. Why the hell i'm thinking about her. Shaking my head, i again tried to sleep.

But something inside me is not getting the peace. So, i took my sketch book and went to my balcony. Sitting their i started my work. It's like My hands were moving like their own. Within an hour i finished my sketch and when i saw what i sketched, i got shocked. I sketch the same girl whom i saved today. But in this sketch a smile was playing on her lips.

She's looking more beautiful with the smile. I was admiring her sketch, I don't know when sleep consume me and i slept in the balcony.
