SOPHIA'S POV:

What is she saying? I don’t want to cry here right now.

“What are you doing with her Kathy?” Alex came behind me and said to Kathy. I can’t look up since tears are forming in my eyes. If i look up at Alex I will probably start crying . That’s why i keep looking down.

“Oh hey Alex. Looks like you have been doing great. I am just here to meet your wife. She sure is a beauty.” Kathy said in a mocking tone.

“if you are done then leave her. Sophia let’s go get some drink" Alex says and take my hand. Headed towards the table where different type of alcohol wine are set.

“Are you okay? Don’t believe anything she says. Hey Sophia look up" Alex ask me still I couldn’t look up. Unexpectedly he cups my cheeks and make me look up .

“Don’t believe anything she says. She is a liar and love to gossip. Let just enjoy the party okay?” Alex says smiling. I nod after hearing him.
