Natalia:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing.

Knowing that I had work to attend to made this a whole lot better, and though I technically was supposed to be off for my ‘honeymoon’, I didn’t think that it was necessary anymore.

I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, quickly freshening up and looking at my reflection in the mirror. Just the idea of knowing that I would need to see that bastard after I knew what he’s been doing last night with whoever he had brought to his bedroom. To think that he would have the decency of respecting the fact that my room was next to his.

Quickly getting dressed, I debated whether or not to tell anyone that I was leaving. However, I quickly decided against it, it wasn’t worth while, and they wouldn’t care anyway. Therefore, I walked out of the room and toward the door, I could get myself something at the office.

“Natalia?” Rosalyn called, stopping me. I smiled and turned around, nodding in respect to Daniel.

“Good morning, Rosalyn” I said politely. Fixing my white button up shirt, I wore black high waist pants matched with black heels. My laptop bag was on my shoulder, as I held a few papers in my hand which I knew would need my assistant’s attention when I got to work.

“Good morning, where are you going?”

“I have work to finish, and not to offend any of you, waiting for your son would just delay that for me” I said calmly. Rosalyn’s eyes met mine for a second before she nodded, I nodded back at her before walking out of the house. I was going to take a cab, my car was left back at home, and I wasn’t going to use any of his cars.

“Starling Inc.” I said, entering the first cab that stopped in front of me.

“Yes, ma’am” the driver said before taking off. My eyes scanned the papers that I had, the meetings that we were supposed to delay for two weeks would be held today, the faster I got work done, the better it was for me. The investors who would be arriving in two weeks would be giving it a better thought with the progress they would see, not that I needed to have any for now.

It was twenty minutes later that we arrived, I nodded at the man handing him fifty pounds before he could tell me how much I owed him to begin with “get something for your kids or wife, make their morning and day”

The man’s eyes widened before a bright smile made its way to his face as I walked out of the car heading to the building. My assistant’s eyes widened when she saw me, she was reading through her emails and replying to those that needed her attention.

“Kylie, I need you in my office in ten minutes” I said unlocking my office’s door and entering the room. I smiled at my clean place, the window had the view of the city making me smile as light entered the space. I sat on my desk and pulled out my laptop, putting it on my desk and turning it on. The papers that needed Kylie to review were also on the desk, the fact that she made such a mistake in them wasn’t a surprise to me. I allowed minor mistakes as she was still human and still lacked the experience for it; therefore I knew to review all the work before it went anywhere as to ensure that these minor mistakes weren’t repeated.

My office’s door was knocked twice breaking my train of thoughts “come in”

“You called for me, boss?”

“Yes” I said handing her the papers “the mistakes that were made have been highlighted, I want them fixed and I don’t want to expect such minor mistakes from a professional”

“My apologies…”

“Please call for an order for me for coffee and a panini” I said stopping her. Her apologizing at this point wouldn’t make a difference, the mistakes have been solved and fixed.

She nodded before walking out in silence leaving me to check my emails. I sighed checking the time, it was still early and I knew my employees would be able to get their work done before the meeting I planned to hold later this afternoon.

I picked up my phone and called my secretary, Amanda, who answered almost instantly “Amanda, we are holding a meeting at twelve, have everyone finish their duties unless they plan on staying overtime”

“Yes, boss” I hung up without saying another word just as Kylie walked inside with what I had ordered.

“I brought you juice, something with sugar should hold your energy through the day” Kylie said and I nodded.

“Thank you” I said, nodding at Kylie, dismissing her. She left the office to finish whatever she had to get done through the day, probably already knowing that we had a meeting to tend to later.

My phone’s screen brightened as a notification brightened on my screen flashing a message from one of my friends “congratulations to our beautiful bride”

I rolled my eyes at the message and flipped my phone ignoring it. My chest aching at the fact that in their eyes, I was supposed to be living the days of life.

Shaking my head at myself, I ran my fingers through my hair before going back to reading my emails.

Some bride, right…?

********************

I walked back to the Mansion with a bag of food in my hand, I didn’t plan on having anything from whatever they had in their kitchen. Therefore, any sandwich or soup would do at this point, and cold sandwiches were always a rescue in times of need.

My eyes met Blake’s who frowned in confusion when he saw me entering the house, his eyes landing on the bag in my hand. However, I made no attempt in approaching him or speaking to him to begin with as I walked up the stairs back to my room.

The door was opened without being knocked, making me roll my eyes and turn to face no other than the Alpha who couldn’t take a silent message. His eyes met mine and it took everything in me not to slap him in the face for walking in the way he did.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“What is this?” He asked, pointing at the bag which was in my hand.

“I believe that as a wolf, you have a strong sense of smell” I said calmly “I don’t need anything from you or your house. Whatever you think you can offer me, I can get more by myself; therefore, you can spare me and yourself the time”

I set the bag down on the coffee table which was in front of my bedroom’s sitting area, ignoring Blake’s eyes which were studying my every movement before walking to my closet to get myself some fresh clothes “is there anything that you need, Blake?”

“Where were you all day?”

“Work, I do believe that your parents knew that I was the CEO of my own company. Now, if you will excuse me, I would like to get some rest”

“So, you are just going to lock yourself in your room all day?”

“Does it make a difference to you? Last I checked, you didn’t even want my presence around you” I said looking him in the eye. His eyes hardened and his wolf growled, making me raise an eyebrow.

“You acting this way isn’t going to be fixing anything…”

“What is there to fix, Blake? I don’t even know you, I bloody arrived yesterday, how the hell did I do something that needs fixing?” I snapped glaring at him.

“I am the Alpha of this house, and you seem to not know the rules of respecting your Alpha”

“Why? Because I am not afraid of you? Or because my knees don’t shake at the sight of you? I am not one of your wolves, Alpha Blake. Best you learn and understand that quickly”

Blake:I smiled as I wrapped my arm around my wife, guiding her toward the flower field just like the vision that I showed her.Though I had to admit, the last thing that I expected was for her to be pregnant or the two of us as injured, but I knew that it was now or never. And I wasn’t going to lose the chance to make her the happiest woman on the planet."You actually had them making the garden?” Natalia asked and I smiled before connecting my lips with hers. I bit her bottom lip, pulling it gently before resting my forehead against hers as I pulled away from the kiss. “I take it as a yes?”“A thousand times,” I said, watching as she turned around to look at the flowers. The smells of roses, lilies, orchids, and jasmines filled the air around us, and I couldn’t help the smile that formed on my lips when she turned around to face me as I kneeled down on one knee. It was something that I dreamed of, but I didn’t know how things were going to be. But I knew one thing, I wanted to be a

Natalia:I frowned as we entered the room to find Myla dead on the ground with a knife dug deep in her chest.“Blake?” I asked, voicing out of my confusion and he shook his head.“It was the right thing to do, and she would have done it to herself anyway.” He said, and I frowned in confusion. I got inside his head and my heart dropped as I heard and saw what he was referring to. “Blake, that means?” I asked and he shook his head.“I don’t know how accurate it is, but I know that things are going to be complicated from here.” He said, and I looked at Ryan who was quiet throughout the whole thing. I knew that him being the Alpha’s current beta, he would be lost in so many thoughts, but right now, we needed to know whether or not they needed our help. “They are in their graves…”“We are just going to have to dig them out,” Blake said, stopping me. He frowned as he looked at the door behind me and it wasn’t until screams echoed through the walls that I frowned. I went to rush toward the

Blake:My heart raced against my ribcage as different monitors kept beeping. I squeezed my eyes tightly before forcing them to open, reminding myself of my ability to use my motors. However, that didn’t go as well as I planned for it to as I found myself squinting my eyes shut, trying to avoid the light that was in the room.“Blake?” My mum’s voice filled my ears, and though I was hurt by her and dad, I couldn’t describe the pain that I felt because of them, I couldn’t help but feel thankful for her presence.“Natalia?” I said, shaking my head as I tried finding her. My heart raced and I couldn’t help but frown when I saw her laying beside me, her chest rising and falling with each breath that she took. She didn’t have an oxygen mask, unlike the one that I had, but I could see the bandages that were almost all over her body.“She is just asleep right now. The doctors have instructed that she gets as much rest as she can as she would need to regain her strength after what happened.” M

Natalia:My heart raced as I looked at the demon who formed in front of me.The fact that she was burning the room that was beside me, the room that had my mate inside, made my heart race. And that was something that I knew she was going to try and play with, my fear, anger, and worry. But that wasn’t something that I wanted to give her. “I do believe that it would make things faster if the two of you choose to give up.” She said, her voice sending chills down my spine as I looked at my mate who was trying to stay as far away from the fire. I tried controlling it, but nothing seemed to work. The fact that I knew that Jaiden, the man who was supposed to be my father, was fighting his own dad at the podium scared me. If anything, the fact that they were a father and son getting into this was something that broke me inside, but I knew now that no matter what I was going to say or what I was going to do, nothing would matter. It wasn’t even about me and my husband, these witches were ai

Blake:I growled as I saw my brother shifting, no longer able to contain himself as his instincts took over. The portals revealed the manipulators that were summoned by my wife, and I couldn’t help but find myself growing proud of her strength. To say the least, I knew that she was going to grow a lot stronger now that she knew who she was and what she was capable of.Drake let out a low growl, and I couldn’t help but recall the fact that the man wasn’t even in his head. Whatever was going on, I knew that the witches were having some sort of control on him, and though it pained me to consider, I knew that I had to end this one way or the other.Natalia looked at me and I nodded in assurance as I watched Crystal take flight. The fact that she fought against the control of the witch made me proud of how strong her bond grew with Natalia despite the short period.I took a step toward my brother, my stance ready for his attack as I saw Ariana and Riya, the two who pretended to be on our s

Natalia:My heart raced against my chest as I felt my dragon being close and yet so far to reach.I could tell that Crystal was here somewhere, I just didn’t know where she was.Blake wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him as we entered the podium. No one really bothered to approach us, and I knew the reason; everyone now believed that we were either cursed, or they thought that they were going to watch us die.I looked at mum who was standing in the center of the podium along with Blake’s parents and the two of us frowned before being approached by them. Almost everyone else had their families waiting for them. Mum wrapped her arms around me, pulling me in for a hug before I could say a word, and though I didn’t understand her reason, I couldn’t help but feel my chest ache. This was the first hug that she has given me in years. She pulled away to look me in the eye before running her finger over my cheek, clearly in pain because of what was happening to me.
