Chapter No 28 Fiancee?

She angrily kicks the car’s tire. Manfred followed her towards the car.

“I hate him,” she screams.

“We will teach him a lesson,” said Manfred. She looked at him in frustration.

He held her hand and pulled her with him. “Let’s go, I will show you” he said and dragged her inside the party.

“Manfred what are you on to?” She resisted. He turned towards her and looked inside her eyes and shushed her. His eyes were furious.

He dragged her inside the party gathering. “Now I want you to smile Mel” he said, smiling. She forcefully smiles.

He looked at Easton who was busy with some media authorities.

“Hello Ladies and gentlemen” he said loudly. Everyone turned towards him. She looked at him in disbelief.

“I want to make an announcement,” he said, smiling widely.

Easton was looking at Matilda. “Hey look, it’s Mr. Evans” said a journalist.

“I think it’s a triple pizza party today as I have to make an announcement too,” he said while raising a glass full of wine.

“I am getting married at the end of this month with my beloved fiancée Matilda Huston” he said while putting his right arm around Matilda’s waist. Matilda has looked at him in horror.

“What?” everyone gasped.

“Off course, you have seen how my fiancée is shocked, it’s all a sudden plan. I wanted to give a surprise to my beloved fiancée” he said while kissing her forehead. Matilda was standing still as if she was frozen. Easton felt his fist tightened.

“Really? Mr. Evan is getting married, this would be huge news” said a journalist.

“But Miss Huston? She has been rumored to be Mr. Easton’s fiancée” said another journalist. They all gathered Matilda.

“Miss Huston! We have reported that you had been an unofficial fiancée to Mr. Easton, if this is true then why do you guys call off the engagement?” asked a tall blond girl. Matilda was not in the condition to give any answers to such questions.

“Mr. Evans, did you know she has been engaged to Mr. Easton?” asked a man.

Easton was looking at her through the crowd and their eyes met.

They were staring at each other.

“Off course not, this all is bullshit, I mean Easton was not engaged to anyone prior to me” said Tristana.

“These all are rumors,” said Manfred.

“I am afraid Mr. Evan but we all knew it was about to become official but suddenly everything called off” said the blond girl.

Matilda felt sick. She suddenly had to throw up. She held it back but was unsuccessful.

It was so crowded that she was unable to pass the crowd. She fell over the floor while struggling when two strong arms held her. She looked up it was Easton. His expressions were poker.

She wanted to throw up so she went towards the nearby dustbin in order to vomit.

She was feeling very sick. The reporter followed her there.

“Miss Huston seems pregnant” said a reporter.

“What? Pregnant how?” asked another reporter.

“Miss Huston tell us who is the father?” asked a reporter.

They all were gathering her. Easton felt his knuckles tightened. Tristana came near to him and held her arm.

“Darling let’s go home, it is not good for our reputation to go near such dirty girl” she said. Easton felt as if someone had taken his heart in the fist.

He looked at Matilda, who looked so helpless and then to Manfred with anger.

Manfred rushed to Matilda while making his way through the crowd.

“Mel, Mel” he called her name. She was feeling so exhausted.

She fell unconscious.

“Mel? Mel?” he called her name.

“Everyone get out of my way or else I will sue your media houses by tomorrow” he said aloud; all of the reporters took a side.

He lifted her up in his arms and took her out with him.

“But Mr. Evan, who is the father?” asked the reporter.

“I am the freaking father, is that okay with you?” he said, angrly.

He ran towards the car while holding her up in his arms in bridle style.

They reached home after twenty minutes. He carries her inside the home.

“Mel, Mel” he kept calling her but she was faint.

Ivan was sitting with some little girl who had light brown curly hair and green eyes. A woman in her late 20s was sitting on the sofa reading some book.

“Ivan? Ivan” He called his name.

Ivan got up. “What? What happened to her?” Ivan asked worriedly.

“I, I don’t know” he said, panicked.

“Patricia? We need help” he called for the woman.

They put her on the sofa. Patricia was checking over her.

“Daddy? What happened to aunt Mel” asked Azalea.

“She would be a fine honey” he said while hugging his daughter.

“She is fine, she must have gone through the stress” said Patricia.

“Yeah it was a tacky evening” said Manfred, exhausted.

“What happened?” asked Ivan.

Manfred gives him a sigh.

“Easton said he is getting engaged, she was too upset about it, in order to do something I announced she is my fiancée” he said sheepishly.

“What? You did what?” asked Ivan furiously.

“I did not have any other idea” said Manfred.

“Idea? Idea? Media is going to eat her up alive” he said, clenching his teeth.

“Yeah Easton is quite a powerful family” said Patricia.

“How you know?” asked Manfred.

“I am a doctor and half of our hospital funds are coming from their industries,” she said. “And as for you, I know about you too, you are the famous Evans who made huge inventions in the medical world, your grandfather was the one who made an antidote for venomous virus and your great uncle was an infamous surgeon, so does your grandma, infamous for chinese medicine,” she said.

Both Ivan and Manfred were looking at her in astonishment,

“How you know all this?” asked Manfred.

“Oh come on, I am a doctor” she said smiling.

“In fact, the reason I was unable to come earlier with Ivan was because I had to attend a conference where grandma Anna Marie was a guest, she is such a great woman. I am a great fan of her, I became a gynecologist because I took her as a role model and she helped a lot of women. She is such a good doctor,” she said while placing one head over her heart.

“You know grana?” he asked.

“Who would not know?” she asked while checking upon Matilda’s veins.

“How she is Patricia now?” Ivan asked worriedly.

“She is fine, just need extra care and wait what? Her veins are fast is she…..” Patricia was about to complete her sentence when Manfred interrupted.

“Pregnant” he said. She looked at him doubtfully.

“Please not you, I am not father, I can’t be” he said and they both looked at him with one hand over their mouth.

“No, No I did not mean that, I mean I have no offspring yet” he said awkwardly.

“We need to take her inside her room, I am preparing notorious food for her” said Patricia.

“We are taking her” said Ivan.

“Daddy when aunty wakes up, I want to play with her” said Azalea.

“Aunt needs rest honey but you will for sure” said Ivan and lifted Matilda up.

She woke up and found herself in the room. After getting proper consciousness she remembers what really happened. She got out of the bed and went outside.

“What is going on?” she asked. Azalea was sitting on the sofa, Patricia was in the kitchen, Ivan was playing chess with Manfred.

“Hey! Awake?” asked Ivan.

“Hey Ivan” she said and then she looked at Azalea who was sitting on the sofa playing with her doll.

“Az, my muffin you are actually here” she screams and goes towards Azalea.

“Aunt Mel, I missed you so much” she said.

“I missed you too” she said while hugging her.

“Where is your mom?” asked Matilda.

“In the kitchen” said Azalea.

She went to the kitchen, Patricia was cooking. “Hey Patricia, how are you?” she asked while hugging her.

“Mel, I really missed you” said Patricia.

“I felt lonely without you guys” said Matilda sadly.

“Hey don’t be. We are here with you,” said Patricia while hugging her.

“I checked upon you and found out that you are pregnant. Who is the father? Is it that guy sitting out?” she asked, pointing at Manfred.

“Its Easton, Manfred is just helping me, despite it not being his problem but he helped me a lot. I asked him why he is doing this much for me, but he does not reply to me” she said sadly.

“Why Easton leave you? What happened between you two?” she asked while putting potatoes in the oven.

“I don’t know Patricia, he suddenly shut me out and refused to talk to me” she said frustrated.

“Does he know you are pregnant?” asked Patricia.

“No, he did not give me a chance to tell him” she said. Patricia gives her a sigh.

“Anyway you need to take care of yourself now Mel” said Patricia worried.

Matilda took a deep breath.

“We will do it this month” he said angrily.

“Are you sure?” asked a tall man who was holding a gun.

“Yeah I am assured, now listen to me somehow I managed to win his heart, we thought he had some random bitch in his life but it was lie, he is indeed a blank paper and Fanaggaen industry might need an heir, so I step in and this time is the pay time” he said smiling evil.

“We have checked everything, there is no other woman here in the way” he said, firmly while crossing his arm around his chest.

“Yeah, he announced a fiancee,” he said, angrily.

“That would be more better” she said while licking the pink lollipop.

The men smiles.

“If there would be any bitch we would have long killed her” he said.

“Still wondering, how did he get saved that night?” she asked.

“I aimed over him properly I remember and after firing I ran, he definitely got shot” he said.

“Hmm a mystery anyhow I will dig it out of him” he said smiling.

“Our target will be to hit the snack on time, Easton, you are over,” he said laughing.

“Everything is normal Mel and look now you seem happy too” said Patricia while reading some medical book.

“Why you always study?” asked Matilda.

“You know I love books” said Patricia, smiling.

“Where is Ivan?” asked Matilda.

“The boys went to the groceries” she said.

“Well I want to add I went to the laundry this morning and trust me what mess I have found was a pile of women under garments, do we have other girls here?” asked Patricia.

Matilda laughs harder.

“They all left it here” she said.

“Who?” asked patricia.

“Manfred is the biggest whore on earth” she said laughing.

“Hey! I have ears” said Manfred, who was standing near the sofa.

“Hey honey” said Ivan and kissed Patricia over her lips.

“Put the groceries in the kitchen” she said.

“Where is Azalea? Asked Ivan.

“Watching cartoons as usual” said Patricia while putting the book aside.

“Why you call me whore?” asked Manfred.

“Guess what she found?” said Matilda.

“What? don’t tell me she found a pile of my condom under my bed” he said afraid.

Matilda gives him a sigh and Patricia smiles with the corner of her lips.

“It was better in laundry” she said and got up.

“What was there?” asked Manfred.

“Your girl’s remains” she said.

“Oh goodness” he said and put his head back on the sofa.

“Why you get so many women in your one life” asked Matilda.

“Woman came to me” he said proudly. Matilda rolls her eyes.

“Self centered” said Azalea.

Both Matilda and Manfred were looking at her as if they were watching ghosts and Ivan and Patricia were shocked.

“Where did you learn that from honey?” asked Ivan.

“A person who talks like this is a self centered father,” she said without looking away from her tab’s screen.

“Children now a day” said Patricia, exhausted.

“Be ready for a tough job” said Ivan to Matilda, who smiles.

“What you make today?” asked Ivan.

“Your favorite tacos” said Patricia.

“I love them too” said Manfred.

“Me too” said Matilda.

“This is great” said Patricia, smiling.
