Athena hasn’t heard from Azazel since the last time he fucked her brains out. She had sent him several texts asking for a divorce, but all she got in response was kiss gifs and love emojis. Never in her life did she imagine that a man like Azazel would send her emojis, let alone love emojis. She didn’t think the man even knew how to send a regular text without so much as multiple threats in it.

This irritated her so much. She wanted to call and give him an earful, but she didn’t want to be the first one to break the silence. She has been trying to persuade him relentlessly, but he didn’t respond to any of her texts after that.

The day of the party had arrived. Athena had been feeling dizzy. The thought that she might be pregnant did not cross her mind, not even once. With everything going on, her health took the back burner for her.
