I picked up my phone nervously at the third ring. I had a bad feeling about this call."Mother..." I said slowly. "Come home. We need to talk." I swallowed. If she wanted to me to come all the way down to talk, then things were serious. I put down my phone and headed straight into the closet to pick something to wear. Jeans. There was something off about Leo.He came back later than usual. He stayed up late at night, had very lengthy calls at odd hours and smiled at his phone often. My suspicions were raised beyond a doubt. I did not know how to confront him about it. What was I supposed to say? Was I supposed to sit him down and ask whom he as speaking to all the time? Things hadn't changed much between us. We had very few words said to each other and that was mostly because he had very little to say in response to the conversations I tried to start with him.It was a Saturday afternoon, I was busy sorting through laundry when Leo walked in, talking over the phone excitedly.
