GETTING ON EACH OTHER'S THROAT

Nick looked at me with hesitation. "But Stella, are you really sure about it?"

I smiled at him with teeth out. "Of course I am! It will not take too long, I swear!"

I put my phone on the table to record the conversation between Hailey and Nick. I dragged my feet towards towards the line and I could not help but to stare at them. I was kind of nervous because they seemed so comfortable with each other. But I have them monitored and later after my work, I will play my recording of their conversation.

A few minutes later, I went back to our table and I immediately put my phone inside my pocket. I immediately kissed Nick on his cheeks and asked him. "Did you miss me?"

"How can I not?" he said.

"So may I know what you were talking about earlier with Hailey? Based on what I have seen, you two are getting along with each other so well already!"
