CHAPTER FIFTEEN

He could still feel the pains below his abdomen that Nicole caused last night in her drunken state of mind.

"I am certain she remembered what she did to me last night, that is why she ran away without showing appreciation for what I did for her because she was embarrassed," he thought to himself and smiled.

He got up from the bed because he had to brush his teeth and wash his face, that was a daily routine he created for himself.

On his way, he picked up a piece of paper that was kept on top of his office journal. He picked it up and smiled like a child as he got his signature on the piece of paper. It stated,

LETTER OF APPRECIATION

Good morning, Caregiver,

I am sorry for leaving without appreciating your kind gestures last night.

I want to use this medium to thank you for taking the time to look after me while I was wasted last night.

I was shocked to wake up on your bed, but I appreciate that.
