CHAPTER 108: A CHANGED PERSON

Naya’s POV

Few days past and I had to admit that Talon was a whole new person. I was deeply surprised by his actions. A lot had changed about him. He had been distant and aloof for as long as I could remember.

He would come home from work and barely speak a word to me. I never knew what was going on in his life, or what he was feeling. But something had changed. He came back from work and told me everything about his day.

“Hello, Naya,” he said with a wry smile on his face.

“Welcome home, Talon,” I said in a calm tone.

“How has your day been?”

“So far, it’s been nice.”

“That’s good to know. I hope you didn’t have a hard time at home with anything?”

“Not at all. I’ve been fine all the while,” I said with a smile. I was happy that he was concerned about me. His niceness and calmness towards me was second to none. I could see it deep down that he genuinely cared for me.

I added, “Tell me about your day at work today.”

“Well, it’s a good thing you asked.” He reciprocated with a smile.
