That sexy smirk was on his face,she felt like slapping it off."Oh y-you so full of yourself."She stuttered.Being this close to him she can smell his masculine male scent mingled with his shower gel,it toyed with her senses. Making her even more aware of the insistent ache between her legs.She needs to move away from him or else she'll find herself naked and bending over this bed with him buried deep inside her heat in a matter of seconds.

She should've known he wasn't about to let her go so easily she thought when she tried to move away from him.The air around them thicken as they stared at each other,the outside world faded away.It was just them in this moment.Avery was spellbound.

His hand went up to her hair,he undid her ponytail her hair tumbled down framing her face.Her scalp tingled as long fingers curled around her hair and tugged,exposing the curve of her neck to his hungry gaze. Her breathing became heavier as his head slowly descend towards her own.

"There's nothing I'd love more than to prove you wrong this instant."He breathed against her skin,she trembled.One hand slid across her shoulder going down her back,Avery could feel his touch burning her,branding her.The hungry look in his eyes told her he can and he will have her again.Dear lord help her because she wants that too.

A silent gasp slip past her dry lips when he softly kissed her erratic pulse at the base of her neck."Still as soft as I remember,still so delicious."He ever so gently nibbled her earlobe,Avery gritted her teeth so hard as not to cry out.Because that's exactly what he wants for her to admit she wanted him and to accept his preposterous proposition and lord knows she's close to agreeing.

His hold around her waist tighten bringing their bodies even more closer she's flushed against him.His length stood hard and erect between them.A low moan of need almost escaped past her lips."We.."The rest of her words got swallowed by the firm pressure of his mouth.She had expected him to kiss her but what she didn't expect is for it to be so mind blowing,any thoughts of resistance flew out the window as she kissed him back.

Avery glared at him as panic set in.If his sister can come in now and see them she's fired for sure.She pushed against his chest but he wouldn't budge."Get off."She mouthed but he refused,he didn't even seem bothered or stressed out that his sister was on the other side of the door.If anything he looked irritated by the interruption."See why I prefer my own space."He muttered."For things like these."In one swift move he stood and took her with him."I'm still busy Catalina.Did you need anything."

"Mom called.You not answering your phone."

He scowled."I was in the bathroom.I'll call her when I'm done."

"Hurry up the guests are starting to arrive and Kent wants to talk to you."

"I'll be right there."He pulled her close again."Where were we."He referred to her.Avery quickly moved away from him,if he can kiss her again she's doomed.

"No.Don't come any closer."It confuses me,makes my brain foggy."You shouldn't have kissed me.I work for your sister and I love what I'm doing I'm not about to lose my job for a quick screw with you.So please,I'm asking you nicely don't ruin this for me."

He quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper and handed it to her."The hotel I'm staying and room number. Just tell the receptionist you coming to see me."

Yet again he shocked her,she gaped at him.Was he actually serious.Does he really think she's about to jump into bed with him after what just happened now.Clearly he thinks so no wonder he's giving her his hotel name and room number.This man is a piece of work.How dare he."I'm not sleeping with you." She gasped in shock at the blatant truth of his words,she couldn't even deny them."Go to hell Alexandro Cano!" Angrily she stormed off but not before hearing his.

Luckily she managed to avoid him for the remainder of the night.It was nearly twelve by the time she climbed into her car and drove home.After a nice long shower she climbed into bed but sleep refused to come.All she can think about is Alex's kiss how easily he had weaken her defenses with a simple touch,how he'd almost come close to having her.She shuddered at the memory.

How could she give him free reign like that.How could she let in him without putting up a fight.He owned her body in seconds,without even having to do much.She groaned softly if she lets him in he'll come to know of the triplets and she knows it won't end good for her.

The man is here for a few weeks then he'll be on his way back to Spain where he belongs.He only wants a temporary body to keep him warm.A no strings attached kind of fling and she can't not when she is keeping a secret from him.A secret that could very well mean the end of her.

The call to his mother yesterday hadn't been pleasant at all,it had ended in another argument about him not wanting to give his ex fiancee Paola a second chance.She's very sneaky she couldn't get through to him now she's using his own mother to get his attention and all it does is cause unnecessary arguments between him and his mother something he wants to avoid especially since she had open heart surgery a few months ago.

He didn't want to leave Spain but business matters here in Vegas required his attention.For years now he's been debating of relocating the business here,expanding it further but due to his wedding to Paola he had decided against it because he had thought he would settle down in Madrid.

But ever since he's been in Las Vegas there's this persistent voice in his head telling him to stay and the more he thinks about it the more the thought grows.He has nothing left back home anymore except for his mother,even his younger brother Julio is staying here due to his studies.

Catalina settled down here too,has a family of her own.He doesn't see the need for him to go back,all he can do is fly his mother out and let her come and live here where she'll be close to her children and grandchildren a fact she always cries about.He knows his mother yearns for him to have a family of his own but he doesn't,not with the scars he has,he must fight his own demons first before he can even think of settling down.It's a good thing he didn't marry Paola all he would've done was make her miserable.

Growing up he didn't have a great childhood,he has the scars to prove it emotionally and physically, especially physical even his mother has scars too.They have secrets,secrets no one knows not even his own siblings secrets that might destroy his hard earned reputation.He never lets anyone in if he does they start to ask questions he won't be able to answer that's why he moves from woman to woman,not staying in one place for long.

Not allowing any woman to get too close.He never even let any woman spend the night with him or sleep in the same bed with him because it might give them the wrong impression then they'll start to become clingy and have certain expectations he's managed all these years to keep them at bay until he met Avery and that changed.

She's the first woman that slept in the same bed as he,the first woman he spend an entire night or should he say weekend neither of them left his hotel room that weekend, the first woman he felt connected to on a level he can't understand.

When he had left for Spain he'd had a certain restlessness in him that he couldn't apprehend even now he doesn't know and it's frustrating him because he wasn't in control of what he's feeling or experiencing everything is so new for him.He loves control and if he loses that than he's way out of his comfort zone and if that happens he becomes someone he doesn't know or recognize. And that scares the shit out of him.

Why her?A stripper or should he say former stripper.He's eager to know her.This desire he has for her is so strong that it terrifies him.With her he has no control and if he isn't careful he could end up causing her pain.

Today is her day off and she plans to spend the whole day with her three little musketeers,early this morning they'd woken her up by making noise in their cribs.First Alex as usual than the girls,now she was busy preparing their breakfast.She didn't get much sleep last night,Alex invaded her dreams and occupied her thoughts too.

Not only that Nicole's situation is also worrying her further.The bank will never give her a loan and the last thing she wanted to do is ask her boss for help.How will she explain what she's gonna do with that much money.She stared at her babies,she cannot put them in any danger and that is exactly what will happen if she doesn't help Nicole.Sighing she began to feed the triplets she's gonna need a miracle to get them out of this situation.

She wasn't too pleased when Nicole stopped by later that afternoon,that too with her boyfriend and he and Avery don't see eye to eye because he abuses Nicole and treat her like she's garbage and the manner with which he talks to her sister doesn't sit well on her."I told you never to bring him here again.I don't want him around the triplets."She said blocking the door way.It's clear she hasn't slept in days Avery wonder if she still remembers to bath.

"Come on sis.Don't be like that."Avery shot a very displeasing glance in Brian's direction.Not only has he introduced Nicole to this horrible lifestyle he has her eating out of the palm of his hand.She has no idea why Nicole is so blind to see Brian's true colours,he's only using her.

"When is the last time you slept.Ate or taken a bath."Avery asked."Or have you forgotten there's an outside world."

"Brian.Do you mind giving us a few minutes alone."Nicole told him,after a moments hesitation he left."Have you thought about what we discussed."

Avery knows she was talking about the money."No.And I can't help you Nicole."

"Avery please."She pleaded following her inside to the living room."You have to."

"Firstly I don't have to do anything about a debt you incurred.Secondly I don't have that kind of money even if I wanted to help I can't.Ask Brian."

"He's as broke as I am."She throw herself down in the chair and gazed at the triplets that's playing on the floor."I know you don't owe me anything Avery but you know people,I'm sure if you can talk to the right people you can easily get what you want."Avery didn't like her sister's choice of words.

She crossed her arms and glared at Nicole."What exactly are you saying."

"You made such good money working at the club,I'm sure if-...."

"No!"Avery cut over her."Are you out of your mind?Are you even hearing yourself right now.You expect me to go back to the club only to help you pay off your debt.Why don't you go and work at the club."
