CHAPTER 24: LIVE ON

Ken’s POV

“What happened to her?” Manang Celia asked.

“She has a lot of alcohol intake”

“Can you bring her to her room?”

I did as Manang Celia asked me to do. I gently laid her on the bed before taking off her heels. She looks so innocent and calm. I caress her hair to the side that slightly covers her eye. You’re still the beautiful woman in my sight.

“Thank you, Ken, for bringing her into the room. Did you drink together?” Manang Celia asked.

“No. She was alone. The owner of the bar was my friend and he told me that she was there”

“Thank God nothing happened to her especially that she was alone. Do you know the reason why she drowned herself with alcohol?”

I can see that she’s genuinely worried about Chelsea. She was like her own child.

“I also don’t know”

“She wouldn’t drink this much if she’s not going through something”

I believe that too. She’s not the type to get wasted for no reason and when no one’s with her.
