As Jayden reached, he quickly pushed the door open to see Alexis trying to take a glass cup from Loverina. He stepped closer to get a better look at Loverina.

Her face was flushed, with a pinkish hue around her nose and cheeks. She was sitting on the floor, her hair messy and her mascara smudged, nearly ruining her face. It was obvious she has been crying.

“What is the meaning of this?” he asked.

Loverina turned to meet his gaze.

“You found me too,” Loverina chuckled, covering her face as a blush spread over her cheeks.

Ignoring her giggles, Jayden picked her up and gently laid her on the bed.

“You look double,” Loverina mumbled playfully. Using her fingers to point the two places she could see him at.

“That’s because you drank too much alcohol,” Alexis said, stepping in to help Jayden put Loverina to bed.

“If you care so much, then am I not supposed to be enough for you?” she slurred, her words sloppily woven together.
