Iris's POV

“Sorry, I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you.” I panicked as I watched Ariel rub his eyes.

It turned out that Ariel killed the beast immediately when the door fell down. We attacked with the pepper spray, but directed it all at Ariel in a moment of panic. I failed to notice the corpse of the beast on the floor.

I had washed his eyes and asked Samantha to get ice packs as his eyes were red. Meanwhile Eloise held a mini fan, hovering it around his eyes to cool it. I sat beside him, consoling him and trying to get him to open his eyes full.

It was a Miracle he hadn't gone blind as I used the spray with massive force alongside Samantha and Eloise. He had to open his eyes before his brother arrived. Looking at the relationship between Azariel and Lucian, I was sure Lucian would let Azariel deal with me.
