Cody's Pov
_________ The apple of her father's eyes staring back at me with those eyes that could enslave a man and it hurt to be the only part of her that I could see. I shouldn't let go of that gaze, but she wasn't my bride. Lumi was. And that plan might have changed today if Kaliya hadn't been bought by the moon, already. Of course, I would use the word 'bought' as this decision to stay without a man never came with her consent. She was little and didn't even know what gender was when she was marked. It was inconsiderate of her parent to accept such a ridiculous term. How could they want their daughter to be the savior of the wolves, how could they deprive her of something so ripe and flavored like - sexual demons? I want to rewrite her innocence. "And Day one…poof!" Lou sank into the couch in the main living room when we got back. We had rented out the biggest suite in the North for the wedding which Akkar had offered to pay for, but why did I need the boy's money? Kings do not fall. The Southern hierarchy outweighed the Northerns and I will not rub off my esteem for a mere Alpha. "To think we still have months to go…the Northern culture is barbaric" Clinton had helped himself with the row of alcohol at the bar. "All these for a girl you're not attracted to" Lou roared with laughter and Clinton joined him. I sucked in my teeth, tapping my feet on the ground as I glared at them. "Fuck you, Lumi looks good enough to be laid…" "…by someone else" I muttered these words to myself. "Well, she's just like your other dream walkers," Lou remarked. 'Nothing special…" Clinton added. "You know what's special, Cody?" His brows arched and his cheekbone lifted in a wicked grin. "Come on, he knows the answer too" Lou punched Clinton on the shoulder, and they made a friendly handshake. I sat upright on the couch, facing my two buddies. "I am glad we are on the same page." "We can see right through you, Your Majesty" he teased. "Do not mistake her for your own…" "Technically, she is Akkar's daughter…" Clinton defended. "Right." I instantly agreed. "In the real sense, she, Kaliya, should be mine." My stomach knotted at the statement I made. Clearly, my demon desired her as much as I did, and the word 'mine' triggered its response. "Well, I had expected that you treat her father the 'Cody way' when he slapped off your palm from his daughter's" Lou frowned. "That man is bold." Clinton disgustingly uttered. "How could he forget that he is meant to bow to you? This was a pact and you had fulfilled your side of the deal…" "And now he gets aggressive because he had intentionally played you by giving you Lumi." "No one can play me." I corrected, not giving them a chance to think that anyone - ugh, even the Northerners, could trick me. "I have Akkar just right where I want him. I always know what to do" I shot them a warning glare, marking my eminence. "So, did you beat his ass in private?" "Did you rip his balls?" "I did warn him-" "Warn?" "We're just in the first phase." I rested on the armchair, slightly closing my eyes. The flash image of his daughter filled my head, the urge to rip every piece of clothing and glove off her body. "I want Kaliya" I muttered. Meeting their eyes again, I continued. "Akkar would pay for breaking his deal. The daughter he cherishes so much would be wrapped under my legs" "She's the Virgin of the Moon." "Then that makes me the filthy king of the sun" They chorused in laughter. "From what I heard, she's a hard nut to crack." "But I always get what I want…" "She could be an exception. It could be rumors, but there are grave consequences for messing with that girl. Don't give it a chance.." I scoffed, walking to the bar to take a glass of drink. "Not even the purest of hearts, can resist me." I gulped down the raw liquor, feeling a brief sharp pang in my chest. "I'll make this happen. Trust me" "Oh, we know that. You have never failed to get anything you want, My Lord." "All you need to do is watch while I break Kaliya's innocence into bits my bits." "What's your initial plan?" "I do not have one…" I smirked. "But I bet her voice would be as beautiful as her eyes looked." "You'll get her to talk?" "She has to…" "She has never spoken to any man except her daddy." "Well, not my words…" I scraped my fingers on the tip of the glass. " -but…daddy could mean different…things" "Oh, Cody" Lou placed his palm on his face while Clinton continued laughing. "The Northern girls fear us, and we are about to prove them right by ruining our reputation, again" "Speak for yourself, I only want a pretty girl to feed on." "Unfortunately for us, we don't get one. These girls wouldn't even take a look at us. You meet a girl and she snarls at you…" "You're double the age of these weenies, I expect that their strategies wouldn't trick you. You're a demon, Lou" I touched his shoulders. "You have the power to penetrate and manipulate their thoughts." I looked at him and gave a wink. "While we are here for my wedding, you both should make good use of your time and power. Women back home are ready to give us all we want, so why not play a game with these pretty hard-to-get Northerners" "You know what? You're right." "As I always am" I walked away from the living room, leaving Clinton and Lou to ponder over what I had fed them. My mission here wasn't only to get Lumi and seal my pact with Akkar, there was one more person I had to keep.Akkar's Pov——————-I could not believe my ears. No, not on my watch, not on my reign. I walked into the temple in the middle of the night, Kaliya was meant to be praying by now, but I was shocked to see….to see her sleeping. This must be some sort of dream.I stormed into Kaliya's prayer temple, my anger steaming just below control. Another death in our village, another family torn apart by the goddess's anger. I couldn't bear the thought of losing more of our people and here she lay, unbothered. "Kaliya," I growled, "I've just received news of another death in our village. Tell me, have you been fulfilling your duties to the goddess?"Kaliya's eyes widened, as she sprang up from the floor she was sleeping and she took a step back, her hands trembling slightly. I could see the fear in her eyes, but I didn't care. Our people's lives were at stake. How does she sleep? She would never find me slack in the place of my duties, so why should she?"Do not lie to me, Kaliya," I warned, my f
Cody—————-“Oh there you are” I heard Lumi’s voice ans I turned around to see her walking towards me, thankfully I had decided to go straight to the library when I left Kaliya’s dream.“You aren’t asleep why?” I asked staying where I was, I normally would have pulled her into my arms but I was not interested in playing house.“I uh was searching for you because something happened and I wanted to know if you knew why” she said and I frowned.“Speak” I said, it came out hard and she flinched but i didnt care, if it was something serious she should let me know fast.“Uhh, c-can we sit, it’s a lengthy discussion” she said and I turned and walked back into the library with her following behind.“Talk”“I don’t know what is up with you but don’t speak to me like that” she said and I sighed, make was Kaliya’s sister, I should be nicer, was what I thought and not because she was my wife.“I am sorry, I have just been stressed and you said something happened I wanted to just make sure you wer
Cody————-Well this meeting wasnt very exciting, I thought when Kaliya rushed to me, I decided dream world was okay today so I let her come to me, didnt want to show her yet that i could easily visit her in the real world. While getting to know each other I hid a lot of things from her, things she had no business knowing, she already thought of me what she thought of me didnt want to make it worse especially with the killings, she didn’t need to know just how much blood was on my hand.“You don’t look okay, is something wrong?” I asked her holding her arms, she was actively shaking, like she had just experienced something crazy.“H-how are you here?” What? Oh yeah she must still think it is only when I am invited I can come to her dreams, wait does that mean she didn’t think of me?“Uhh, you probably called me subconsciously” I said nodding my head as the thought of why she didn’t think of me occupied my mind, what was it that was soo important that she hadnt thought of me, not like
Kaliya's Pov———————It was shortly after I had left the meeting place that my father had followed me, with one knock, I rushed to the door to see him, scowling at me."Father…" my voice broke, first in pity then in guilt. He wouldn't know which one, so that was okay. "Can you handle this?" I asked him the first thing that seemed like a solution to me. Akka4 handed all of the North crisis and I wished to know if this was within his power. "I have seen the corpse" he broke such devastating news."You have…" I couldn't complete my words. "It is true? Did you see her corpse? Was her eyes popped out as described."He nodded pitifully. "The child, yes." There was a long silence between us before a whimper escaped my lips. "Be strong, Kaliya. If you mourn every person with such a vulnerable approach, how do they rely on you?" He snarled. It didn't stop new tears from rolling down my eyes. "You need to go back into the temple. Ask the goddess what this is about. Is it a sign? A warning? We
Kaliya's Pov_____Nessa rushed to me when I was heading to meet my father in the living room. "Princess," she held my hand gently. I looked over at her, wondering why she was looking very concerned."Are you alright, Nessa?" I asked her and she nodded positively. "Then why have you stopped me?""I am concerned about you" she played with her fingers. I paused, reading her movements. "Is anything the matter, Princess Kaliya?" She asked."No," I responded and they smiled. "This is sudden. What do you see?""I…" she stuttered. "I heard you talking to someone yesterday." She looked into my eyes. "It was like someone was in the room with you."My heart missed a beat. She…heard…us?"Urhm.. What did you hear?" I asked. Now I was scared. Did she hear a man's voice or did she hear me mention suspicious statements? Oh goodness, she better not."It was not clear. But you did speak. I thought you were praying at first. But it wasn't a prayer, it was a conversation. Something like you looked hot a
Cody—————“Is it possible for us to not have sex and just talk?” Kaliya asked me, even though all I wanted to do was bury my dick inside of her I was also excited to just talk, I didn’t mind anything as long as she was not mad at me.“Sure princess, anything in particular you want to talk about?” I asked moving closer to her.I had showed up earlier than normal because I was excited to see her, she had probably slept late because she came later not like I mind but it reduced the time I was going to spend with her so i wasnt particularly happy about it.“Come to me first, I don’t want to be here” she said and i didnt wait for her to ask me twice as I shadowed travel to the real world. This place was different, did she change rooms? Or is she back home?“Oh yeah, Im back to the castle” she said and I nodded slowly, the room was larger than the one at kato’s house, well as expected from royalty.“I don’t know what you ate but I have left over snacks” she said pointing to the tray of coo
