Writer's POV:

Alexa looked away and stepped away slowly in thoughts, still nursing her hand... As a way of humbly refusing her boss' order.

He looked up at his secretary sharply. “Are you deaf, or just acting stupid, Alexa?”

She sounded distressed. “Boss, please don't get me wrong but that woman is a viper—the devil herself. The moment you step into her trap...” —she snapped her fingers— "you're gone. You won’t get out. She's evil. Miss Diana McCoy is dangerous. She won't stop until you're finished. Sir, please—don’t do this. Don’t let her in. She’ll be the end of you", her eyes sank into worry, "I care too much about you to..."

"Then what do you suggest I do?!" Winston Counter now spoke in a low yet angered voice, his eyes narrowed.

She stepped closer, voice softening, her other hand's fingers grazing his chin in a delicate caress "Boss, you don’t need to go through with this. Just walk away. Please, let your grandfather handle her—"

He slapped her and grabbed her neck. He said in a low menacing voice, "So he'll call me useless, incompetent, and childish, that's what the fuck you want, ain't it?. So he'll continue to see me as shit that does nothing but fucking generate heat when it's not fucking needed?. Enough nonsense! You will not stress, do as I said, you fool." His voice dropped to a growl. "Slut."

★The Next Evening★

The appointment with Miss Diana McCoy of McCoy's Companies had been set for next week—but Winston wasn't a man who waited.

Anika, Diana’s silent butler, led him through the eerily quiet halls of the estate. He scanned the darkened surroundings.

"I see Miss Diana likes the dark" he muttered. "Creepy taste for a woman."

Anika kept walking, her heels the only sound on the pristine white tiles.

"Stop." Winston grabbed her arm. "You don’t seem like the chatty type..."

"Correct," she said with a slight bow, trying to move on.

He pulled her back, annoyed. "No need to be rude.", He caressed her cheek awhile..., in an attempt to kiss her, she shoves his face and drew away from him, looking away from him, unapologetically.

Her voice was low, calm. "My orders are to take you to Diana and nothing more"

His glare deepened, he grabbed her again aggressively. This time what he saw a frown. "Why won’t you look at me?"

She pulled away from his grip again, turning her back this time. "Mr. Counter I suggest we continue, unless you enjoy waiting."

He chuckled, eyes trailing her. "Hard to get, huh?" He followed, then said to her ear, "Your type of little shits are the ones that always come back begging for more, Tch!"

She stayed walking, choosing to ignore him. She gave out a scoff on their way which Winston didn't miss to notice.

They reached the ornate doors.

"Please proceed, Sir" Anika said to him while gesturing towards the doors.

---

Normally, Diana McCoy never entertained guests who disrespected her schedule. But this one... this one was exactly what she waited.

She stood at the tall window in her study, bathed in moonlight, a half-full wine glass in hand. The glow made the crimson in her drink dance.

Thunder rolled in the distance.

"Rain" she whispered to herself and a slow smile appeared on her lips.

---

★Winston’s POV:

I stepped into her study—and all I could see clearly at that second were her lips as she was sitting down there.

Deep. Blood red. Dripping temptation. Smirking.

Same as the living and passageways, it was dark in her office. The moonlight from the window framed her in silver, lighting up her lips and neck just enough to fucking torment me.

She stood slowly, setting a wine glass on the table.

What the hell is she doing?

"Welcome," she purred.

That waist. Those loaded breasts. That fucking physique... It's calling.

Those photos online are definitely not Photoshop.

Look at you Diana!...

“Fuck!”, I whispered under my breathe.

Her silhouette was made for sin. My body reacted instantly, and I had to school my face not to show it.

My eyes roamed. Her presence was magnetic. Her gaze—sharp and hypnotic—felt like it could spear through my chest.

I opened my arms as she walked towards me, slow and predatory...

Such majestic step should be criminal...

Come to daddy...

I bit my lip, willing control back into my blood. Her aura is wicked, dangerous, intoxicating. She isn’t just beautiful in person. She is a weapon.

And tonight, I had walked right into her lair.

....

The name ‘Diana McCoy’ shouldn't be known this much even in the farthest future. But for valid reasons she's the topic of every man's tongue in this nation.

“Diana McCoy”

According to her biography, is one of the daughter of the De L' Rosa family. Cast out at age what again?...

Her biography depicts her as Late Eric McCoy's wife but the truth is, (laughs)

She was Eric's lover. Some would call her his private whore. (Laughs)

She was cast out by her biological father, Jacob De L' Rosa when she personally ruined an arranged marriage between her and an old Italian associate of her father's. She was born through a local maid in the De L' Rosa household that Jacob fucked and made two-in-one.

After Diana's birth, the bitch died and the world was cursed with a little girl whom no one knew would became this much of a problem today. Or maybe if Sir. Eric didn't go six feet under, then she wouldn't be a problem but he is.

If you have to ask whom Eric McCoy is then maybe you should be shot on the foot.

Eric McCoy was the man who ruined a lot of lives. He was feared and respected. The bastard was a fucking gangster, a Mob boss— well at least that's what people say, ‘Eric is a Mafioso, that's why he wields so much power in a city that he isn't from. He controls everything and everyone.’, ‘How can Eric make so much money with just a construction company? his shipping company is a wreck and his other companies are worth less than his net worth so how?’. The man was the law.

He was deep in the weapons business. The shipping company and the construction shit that's now bigger than ever, was all a front.

I learned about him when I was in final years of high school when he was trending. Everyone envied him, wanted to be like him, wanted to take him down. He was issue too. My grandfather and a lot of his partners then would complain about this 'English dick-headed motherfucker' who's fucking everybody up.

He was an alpha male. The son of a bitch was a woman magnetic. He'd have every woman, as it suits him. Very dangerous to deal with and he was intelligent and calculative. He was mostly seen with Mr. Marcus Goldman, who's dead too, and Jacob De L' Rosa. Not until they broke up for some reason...

Some rumor that Diana was the reason behind Eric and Jacobs fall out, but I think it's gotta be something more serious, right?

But now, I think differently.

-----

Diana Quigley McCoy,

You're gonna drive me crazy as fuck with this tempting body!.

✧YEARS AGO✧

Writer's POV:

A young girl runs into the doors of the De L' Rosa household, as she cried running towards the stairs. She was being chased by two men bodyguards and her father.

“Diana!” Her father yelled with every bit of his anger showing in his words, “Diana! Stop there you stupid child!”

Immediately she stormed into her room and slammed the door, holding the door. The men chasing after her caught up and since her little body was no match for them she was overpowered. The door was kicked open and young Diana was on the floor in tears. She looked up at her father and just can't get over the fact that this man here is trying to sell her off...

“I will never get married”

“Lies!” Jacob stepped closer and closer to her. The other men were standing behind. “Lies Diana. I am tired of your stubbornness, your disobedience and foolishness. You are marrying him and they is nothing you can do to stop that. Even as a corpse you will be his ghost bride. Outta my hand!. Ever you were born you brought nothing but frustration to me, Diana! It all stops in a few days, just you wait and see”

“Never! I never begged you to have me, I never begged you to keep me either! You've always wanted to get something outta me. To get a pay for my head. Now, you're trying to get that with marriage? I never getting married Jacob!”

Jacob drew back and chuckled, his eyes wide opened staring at her, “You little shit!” he hissed. He looked at one of his men and he nodded, before processing to drag Diana out of the room forcefully.

Her screams and the echoes it produced were saddening. She cried, kicked, punched and struggled to get away from the guard.

“Sir!” one of the nannies came to Jacob as they returned downstairs from Diana's room, “Mr. McCoy is here to see you”.

Just then Eric McCoy walked in, “Jac-”

“Brother” Jacob hadn't seen Eric for awhile since he had traveled for a business trip. His return was surprising to Jacob although he wasn't so proud of the sight Eric was witnessing.

Eric stood with his men across the room as Jacob walked over to him, embracing him and welcoming him back.

But, in Diana's mind...

This man...

---

Diana's POV:

This man...

I felt like I could reach out to him, I wanted to touch him. ‘He would help’, were the words my mind told me. He was graceful. He looked magnificent and dapper in his well tailored suit whose jacket was carefully hanged worn on his shoulders.

I wiggled out of the guard's grip and found myself running towards this man but before I could reach him I was held back by my supposed saviour's bodyguard and pushed back ino the hands of my oppressors.

His eyes met mine in the process. His beautiful grey eyes stared deep into mine. My eyes glittered with desperation, I know. Even during the process of it all, he was still staring at me, I couldn't tell if he was upset, worried, or happy by this but that wasn't the last time he would be seeing me.

Diana’s POV:What is humiliation? The question spun in my mind in those exact minutes. A sudden wave of silence enveloped everything—just that single second of realization—before the crowd erupted. In that hush, it was only me, my mind flooded with vicious thoughts about what to do to this woman-child, this overgrown kidult. I wanted to lash out with such violence. My eyes widened in shock, pupils frozen on my torn sleeve clutched in her hand. For a fleeting moment, I wanted her dead—but no…I refused to let any rational thought push me to take the life of a McCoy. The eyewitnesses suddenly meant nothing. I gave little to no fucks about them witnessing a mugshot. Part of me even wanted to retaliate just so they could see it—so I’d emerge the victor of this round, the one they’d say ‘fought back’ against Louisa McCoy for her idiocy, proving I wasn’t someone to be trifled with.I wanted her wounded. Hurt. I wanted her shattered—broken in such a way that the mere sight of me next time wo

Catching her right outside the MSS building would be perfect. Not long after, she had arrived at the global landmark and proceeded inside. A distant “Ugh!
