CHAPTER 11

After 6 hours of driving, Jeanne arrived safely from Paris. She was so exhausted from the journey but she wanted to move fast. Her house seemed dark.

‘Ma must be sleeping already,’ Jeanne thought in her heart.

She lifted her box one by one into the house without making so much noise. She did now want to wake her Ma up. Bit by bit, her car became empty and finally the boxes were all inside her room.

‘Phew…’ Jeanne released a huge sigh of relief. What a day, finally it was all done.

Jeanne wanted to continue unpacking directly but her body was too worn out. She decided to call it a day. She took a warm bath and directly fell into a sound sleep.
