Jeanne stood straight in Aaron's office, waiting for Aaron's response to break the silence. Aaron looked at his gold Rolex watch with a brown leather band. Looking so fancy and exclusive.
“It's almost lunchtime. Let's have lunch together, shall we?”
Jeanne was not ready to have lunch with the CEO of the company. She still felt awkward with Aaron's personality at work. All this while, they only met outside and Aaron only wore casual. Now that Aaron was looking all fancy while she was looking like a very typical simple girl.
And to begin with, little did she think that Aaron was this rich! She started to feel quite embarrassed to walk around Aaron.

Jeanne stopped by a gas station to take a break while refueling her car. She also grabbed some snacks to help her wake up throughout the journey. Soon, she finally arrived in Paris quite late in the evening. Then, her phone beeped, “Sara will not be around for three days. She will be outstation to Marseille.” The message from Dita arrived. Dita was her colleague from a previous company. Jeanne was so glad to hear the news. She was the one who asked Dita beforehand, afraid that she could meet with people she did not want to meet. The next morning, Jeanne woke up early to finish her packing. She took a bath and went to the kitchen to make a simple breakfast for herself. Then, she started off by doing the laundry of the original bedding set as she needed to put them back. She also swept and mopped her bedroom, making the floor look all shiny and new. In the meantime, she went to the kitchen and started packing up all her things in the kitchen. Luckily, she did not have so many utensils in the kitchen. She then proceeded to the toilet, packing all her toiletries as well as stocks. In the living room, she took her books as well as a few paintings. There were also photo frames of the three, all smiling cheerfully. She became unsure of keeping it because all that meant nothing to her anymore. She decided not to take them. She then took another garbage bag and put them in. Done!

After 6 hours of driving, Jeanne arrived safely from Paris. She was so exhausted from the journey but she wanted to move fast. Her house seemed dark. ‘Ma must be sleeping already,’ Jeanne thought in her heart. She lifted her box one by one into the house without making so much noise. She did now want to wake her Ma up. Bit by bit, her car became empty and finally the boxes were all inside her room. ‘Phew…’ Jeanne released a huge sigh of relief. What a day, finally it was all done. Aaron and Jeanne nailed eyes for each other for a time out of mind. Soon, Jeanne cleared her throat, trying to put an end to the staring game. “Oh..” Aaron seemed startled. He kept himself together and continued while clearing his throat as well, “Sorry for the short notice. I know you must be feeling uncomfortable as I took your free time. But, this is an urgent matter and we cannot miss it as I am looking forward to you being part of it. I hope you understand the situation.“ Aaron explained to her. Jeanne listened to the explanation meticulously and replied, “I see. Well, I can be ready for it if you say so. But, may I know where we are going?“

Jeanne looked deep into his eyes. His eyes were already fixating on hers. 'Can I trust this man?' whispered Jeanne in her heart. With a long, deep breath, she took a huge leap of faith, bringing her hands to his tough chest, and pushed her face closer to Aaron while closing her eyes. Aaron's hand slowly moved to Jeanne's hip and his face became so much closer to Jeanne's. He was ready for the next step. Suddenly... The intercom sounded. “Excuse me, Mr. Walters but we have arrived at the destination,” Harry's voice cracked the tension between them. “Ah…” Aaron sighed in disappointment slowly.

Aaron tried hard not to laugh in front of Jeanne because of her actions. However, his mouth was still frozen when he saw Jeanne. Jeanne opened her eyes slowly after having a good sleep. Her eyes looked beside her and Aaron was not there. She grabbed her duvet from the sofa and walked to the balcony. She was enamoured by the sight of the vineyard. Sadly, the cold wind sent her back into the room. She turned around and... “Aaron?!“ Jeanne was shocked when suddenly Aaron came out from the bathroom with nothing on. She quickly turned her head to the opposite way. Aaron was also shocked to see Jeanne was already awake. He became a little bit flustered. He quickly grabbed his white bathrobe and put it on. “Good morning, Jeanne.“ Greeted Aaron while keeping his cool gesture even though he was still ashamed for appearing naked in front of Jeanne.
