Thunder struck as Rosela is laying on her bed covering her body up with a blanket shivering. The cold midnight breeze was too much as rain was about falling. Rosela lays on the bed thinking of how the upcoming promotional examination would be like. Her greatest fear on the upcoming examination was to write Mathematics as she didn't know much on that particular subject. Kwensa and Anuella was also catching cold in their own rooms. Amunsa on the other hand couldn't sleep from the room. He tried getting up from the bed to be with Rosela but it wasn't easy for him as Dansanisa was all over him that night because of the cold weather breeze that was penetrating into the room. The evening cold wind swipped smoothly across Rosela's window room. The once clear sky was gradually being covered by dark clouds.The crickets started to chrip for signal and welcome the slowly dying day. 6am and Amunsa is already awake fixing the jerking television mount. He uses hammer to bang on it as he positioned the nails on the affected area. The sound of him continually banging the television mount awakens everyone in the house. Dansanisa yawn getting up from the bed. "Who is disturbing my sleep". Today is Monday and it's marks the beginning of the starting day of Examination at Wisdom Expand Secondary school. Students are arranging chairs in preparation for examination. Sandi, Katie and Rosela are already sitting on their chair discussing on how the exams would be like. Sandi kept on starring at Rosela as he thought of the appropriate time on how and when he would explore his feelings to Rosela while he said to himself. Today is Friday and the last day of Examination at Wisdom Expand Secondary school. As usual, the bell rang for assembly and all the present student are moving to the hall for their normal morning devotion. Rosela and her friend, Sandi and Katie moves also to that direction when Mr Solomon, their mathematics teacher called her out to his office. She left Sandi and Katie to answer Mr Solomon's call as she walked through the direction of his office were he was standing. "Goodmorning sir" Rosela greeted. Sandi walked leisurely to Rosela's house to let out his feelings for her since there had already done with their exams. He thought of how Rosela would take it when he told her of his feelings. Sandi thought of how he will say it to her as he walked by the road side kicking spoilt orange like a one year old child.He prayed for Rosela to give him a positive answer as he would die if she says no to him. Turning upside-down on the bed finding it difficult to sleep. It's was already 1am in the morning and Rosela wasn't at this time sleeping. She kept on remembering the sweet and bold words Sandi said to her the previous day. FLASH BACK ON SANDI'S WORD. "I love you Rosela, yes. I love you so very much with every bones in my body I do". She remembers as she held her head. She uses her hands to blind off her eyes to see if she could catch up some sleep but she couldn't as she kept on turning upside-down, left to right on the bed. When she couldn't take it anymore, she stretch out her hands on her bedside to reach for her phone. She found it and immediately put a call through Sandi's phone at 1:20am in the morning. PHONE RINGS.... The loud ring tones of Sandi awakens him just when the call entered. Sandi answered the phone without bothering to check the callers identity as his was still closing.
