Chapter 6

I had gone out for a snack, buying a pack of chips from the cafeteria and slowly taking a walk around the campus, on the grassy ground besides the path to the gate. Truthfully I was kind of nervous, wondering if I was going too far. A part of me pondered if any of this was even worth it, I have a feeling that it won’t make any difference. The only thing it will do is make him angry, I doubt it would annoy him enough to actually even consider leaving this dorm. If that’s the case then what am I even doing?

Someone might say, I should just accept it. It is what it is, right?

I can’t.

I won’t be able to sleep peacefully.

Not as long as I’m haunted by the memories.
