Chapter 14: Try to Trust

Diana knew what Maddie was trying to do, so she replied vaguely, "I don't know if it was him." She sighed, "Although I do hold some resentment towards him, I regret how things turned out."

Upon hearing Maddie's words, a glimmer of light shone in Maddie's eyes. "So, you still like him?" Of course, after seeing how persistent Diana was about Luke, it couldn't be said that she didn't like him anymore!
