She was just in time to see the last bit of the wound closing up while he tore the bandages away with his inhuman strength.

“Your wound, it’s healing.” She said and brought her hands together close to her face in shock.

“Of course, it would heal. This your first time with a werewolf?” he asked her.

“Um, yes. First time with an injured werewolf.” She said to him, and he nodded

“I could have healed long ago, but the bastard who injured me stuck silver in me, and I could not get it out.

I grew weak while he and his friends battered me.” He said

“The silver arrowhead?” she asked

“Yes. Very dangerous. You took it out?” he asked her

“Yes. But I had help.” She said.

He smiled and nodded, appreciating her when he paused suddenly and turned to stare at her like he just

realized something.

“You said earlier I’m your first injured werewolf, and now you say you had help taking out the silver. Are

their wolves with you?” he ask
