Mara was still disappointed in him and turned away from the room. She headed to the gardens downstairs and sat by the fountain.

Sebastian glared at the former, who was still apologizing, before saying, "If you lot of werewolves think so less of humans, then permit me to say that I am extremely glad I have nothing to do with you lot," he said and walked away.

Silas had not left the door all this while, and soon as Sebastian stepped out, he approached him.

"Do I kill him?" he asked now.

"Thought you wanted him to live." Sebastian pointed out

"Yes, but I changed my mind. He hurt Mara." Silas said

"Mara would be more hurt if he's killed. Keep an eye on him while I find her." Sebastian said

"Whatever you say, lover boy," Silas said, chuckling

"Don't ever call me that," Sebastian warned, and before his brother could conjure up whatever was on his mind, he had started striding away briskly.
