*Two Months Later*

I still cannot get over the fact, that this is my house. Amanda has been here almost every weekend; she has been helping me decorate the house. Alaric comes by to check on me almost daily. He has hired therapists to help me work on myself. He has been so sweet, today he said he had a surprise for me, so here I am getting ready. I wonder what it could be, he’s being so cryptic won’t even give a decent hint.

Shoot I only have 10 minutes before he is here. I quickly get dressed in my army green tactical pants, combat boots; since all he gave was hiking; black fitted tank that really hugs my body. I also grab a light jacket just in case it gets cold.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

I quickly open the door with a smile, there stands Alaric wearing a similar outfit. “Here, these are for you,” he says handing me a beautiful bouquet of blue roses
