Elara’s POV

I couldn’t believe Alpha Darius and Liora were here too.

My feet kept moving down the staircase, but my mind had frozen. I thought they were enemies. Lucian and Darius had fought over borders, over power, over everything. Yet here they were, standing in the same hall like it was normal. Liora’s eyes locked on me the second I appeared, sharp and full of hate. Darius looked at me with that same hungry stare he had given me the night he rejected me in front of the entire pack.

  • Banished By The Alpha King:Claimed By The Cursed Lycan Beast   Chapter 157

Lucian's POVHer hands woke me.Not gently. Not with a whisper or a soft touch. Her fingers were splayed across my chest, warm and insistent, sliding down my stomach. Her leg was hooked over my hip, pulling me closer. Her face was buried in my neck, her breath hot against my skin.I froze.Every muscle in my body went rigid. My heart slammed against my ribs. The beast stirred beneath my skin, not with rage, but with hunger. She was dreaming.I could tell by the soft sounds she made, the way her fingers curled into my flesh, the way her hips shifted against mine. She was somewhere else, somewhere warm, and in that somewhere, she was touching me.My body responded. There was no stopping it. I had been starved of her for weeks. Months. Since the kidnapping. Since the potion. Since she had looked at me with empty eyes and asked who I was.And now her hand was on my chest, sliding lower, and I was harder than I had ever been.I gripped the edge of the mattress. My knuckles went white.Cont

  • Banished By The Alpha King:Claimed By The Cursed Lycan Beast   Chapter 156

Elara's POVI slept better than I had in weeks. The bed was warm, the blankets soft, and Lucian's arm was heavy across my waist, grounding me. His breathing was slow and even, his chest rising and falling against my back. I listened to the rhythm of it, letting it pull me down into darkness. And then I dreamed.______________We were in a garden. Not the cold, grey courtyard of the palace, but somewhere warm and green and overgrown with flowers. Roses climbed the stone walls. Vines hung from the trees. The air smelled of honey and rain and something else—something that was just him.Lucian stood beneath an arch of blooming ivy, his dark hair loose, his gold eyes soft. He wore no armor, no crown. Just a simple white shirt, open at the collar, and dark trousers that hung low on his hips."Elara," he said.He held out his hand.I took it.His fingers closed around mine, warm and sure. He pulled me closer. His other hand came up to cup my face, his thumb tracing the line of my cheekbone.

  • Banished By The Alpha King:Claimed By The Cursed Lycan Beast   Chapter 155

Lucian's POVThe war room fell silent after Elara finished speaking.Kylan stood by the window, his arms crossed, his face pale. He wore a simple tunic now, no armor, the blue fabric stained with dust from the earthquake. Dana sat at the table, her hands flat on the wood, her knuckles white. The maps were still spread before them, but no one was looking at them.Darius had the Orb. Alpha Lancelot was dead. The human scientists of the United States of Arcadia were preparing for an invasion."We need to seal the portal," Dana said. "Before they can cross."Elara shook her head. "The portal is unstable. The exiled witches used blood magic to crack it. If we try to seal it from our side without the proper ritual, we could make it worse.""Then what do we suggest?" Kylan asked. "We sit here and wait for them to come to us?""We prepare," I said. "We fortify the walls. We gather allies. We find a way to reinforce the barrier." I looked at Elara. "You said the ritual requires a White Witch's

  • Banished By The Alpha King:Claimed By The Cursed Lycan Beast   Chapter 154

Darius's POVThe portal waited for me at the edge of the Shadow Wilds, where the trees grew twisted and the air smelled of rot and old blood. The two exiled witches stood on either side of the shimmering rift, their hooded faces hidden, their staffs glowing with dark light. They were the same ones who had helped me open the portal to the human world before, the same ones who had brewed the Draught of Forgotten Years for Elara.Behind them, the hooded men waited in silence. My personal guards. Loyal. Disposable.I approached the portal with the Orb cradled against my chest. The stone pulsed beneath my hands, warm and hungry, as if it had been waiting for me."Is it ready?" I asked. The taller witch nodded. "The portal is stable. But crossing with the Orb will cause... disturbances.""Disturbances?""The realms have been separated for centuries. The Orb's magic is the anchor that keeps the human world barren. When you take it through, the balance will shift. There will be earthquakes. P

Darius's POVLucian came to my cell three days before the execution.I had expected him sooner. Or later. Or not at all. But he came, alone, his boots heavy on the stone floor. The guards stepped aside for him. The torchlight flickered across his face, making him look older, harder. His gold eyes were cold when they looked at me. His jaw was tight. He spoke of justice. Of public execution. Of letting the people see me fall.I sat on the stone bench and listened. Let him speak. Let him feel powerful. He was a fool, but he was a fool with an army and a throne. For now.I was quiet for a long moment. "I have one request," I said finally. "One last thing. As old friends.""We were never friends.""As former allies, then. As men who once shared a table and a glass of wine." He looked at me. "Let my mother see me. Before the execution. She is old. She is not well. She deserves to say goodbye."He studied my face. Looked for the lie, the manipulation, the hidden dagger behind his words. He

Elara's POVThe square erupted into chaos.Lucian's voice cut through the screams like a blade. "Seal the gates! No one leaves! I want every soldier searching every corner of this kingdom. Darius cannot have gone far."Guards scrambled in every direction. The crowd pressed against the walls, panicked, desperate to escape. Mothers clutched their children. Old men wept. The executioner stood frozen on the scaffold, the silver axe still dripping with Luna Seraphine's blood. But I did not move.I stood on the balcony, my hands gripping the railing, my eyes fixed on the corpse below. The whispers had faded. The shadow had dissolved. But the wrongness remained, pressing against my chest like a stone."Elara." Lucian's hand found my arm. "Come inside. It is not safe—""He is already gone." My voice was quiet, hollow. "You will not find him. Not here.""You do not know that.""I know." I finally looked at him. His gold eyes were wild, desperate. "He planned this. The execution. The crowd. He

Lucian’s POVI burst through the palace gates with the unconscious girl cradled against my chest. The full moon still hung high, bathing everything in cold silver light. Elara’s POVI felt hurt and bad that he could get angry like that even after our morning encounter. The teasing, the laughter, the way he had stayed with me through the nightmare — I thought things had changed between us. But the moment I stepped into that room, his anger returned full force, sharp

Lucian’s POVI burst into Elara’s chambers without knocking, the door banging against the wall hard enough to rattle the hinges. The royal physician was already there, bent over the bed, pressing a cool cloth to her forehead. Elara’s POVThe cage bars dug into my back as I pressed myself against them. The metal was cold and rough, smelling of rust and something sour that made my stomach turn. I wrapped my arms around my knees and tried to breathe slow. My heart hammered so loud I could hear it in my ears. This was worse
