Lyric Adams pov

“LET'S GO!” Camden snarled as I shook my head, looking around frantically for Cesan to appear.

“I want to wait for Cesan,” I asserted and narrowed my eyes at him, rolling his.

Angered, I turned to face him and then pointed my finger up at his furry face. I shivered slightly at still being drawn to him, but my disgust over his life choices overcame it.

“You should be with your wife, mister, so she isn't trying to sneak into another man's room. Leash your bitch,” I snapped.

Giving me a raised brow as his ears twitched, he said, “You're crazy, Jasmine hasn't left our room without me being completely aware.”

Eyeing him carefully, I could tell that he believed what he was saying, and I pinched my lips together as I glanced at my brother.

“What did you both do?” Salem demanded of me, and Camden nodded, also wanting an answer. I glared at Camden, then ended with my eyes on my brother.

“Nothing brother, we were enjoying a picnic and taken to see some freak n

Lyric Adams pov Entering my bedroom, I wasn't surprised to see Camden putting what little clothes I had into his suitcase. He glanced at me and told me I could purchase more clothes in the Crescent Moon pack's town. Ignoring that, I asked, “Aren't you still married?” Pinching his mouth, he shook his head, “I filed for a divorce the second I set foot here. I saw you and I knew that I needed you. I had your dad send the paperwork to the Council. You hanging around with blondy really chapped my ass.” Grinning slightly, I said, “Your ass looks fine, Camden. There's nothing chapped on either cheek.” I then giggled at the sultry look he gave me. When he rushed toward me, I put up my hand to stop him. “You want to know why I wed Jasmine,” he muttered sourly, and I nodded. Shrugging, he sighed. “Before I met you, she served me well, but after seeing you, my heart started acting weird, and I realized that you caused it. Ragnar razed me continuously, saying that you were my mate,"

  • Banished a Curse or Blessing    Chapter 40

Lyric Adams pov I woke alone, naked, and sore in my bed. Rubbing my eyes, I cursed at myself for being exactly like what I had called Jasmine. “Why does Camden make me so weak,” I murmured while my fingers traveled over the mark he had placed on my collarbone. I had marked him as well, and he knotted and then climaxed hard inside of me. “Am I pregnant?” I asked my wolf, and she yawned in my head. “What was that, dear?” Frustrated, I repeated the question, and she told me that it was too soon to know for certain, then snickered, “You're not broken considering how much you moaned.” “Hush, Oh Goddess, do you think Cesan and Salem heard,” I groaned internally and narrowed my eyes at my room door opening. “Good morning, sweetheart. I brought us breakfast,” Camden announced cheerfully, and I screwed my face as I searched for my t-shirt. Giving me a raised brow, he asked me why I was freaking out, and I gasped. “We are marked mates, and I was starting to…” He interrup

Lyric Adams pov As we walked up the driveway to my dad's house, an intoxicating scent suddenly filled my nostrils, and I inhaled the scent and made a mmm sound. I hadn't seen the Lycan that had just been where I was walking and instead eyed Cesan. Cocking his brow, Cesan snickered at me. “What on earth are you doing?” “Wait,” I sighed and sniffed the air again, then stepped toward him, only to discover the scent had disappeared. “Something smelled delicious but it's gone now,” I blurted, then covered my mouth in embarrassment since I was sniffing around him. My cheeks burned while I watched him lift his arm to sniff himself and then eye me strangely. “The scent of those stinky caves is all I smell on myself and you. Are you ill?” Giving him a stoic glare, I said, “Nope,” then continued walking in the darkness, trying to catch the intriguing smell again. "It is gone," Ojani whimpered, causing me to frown and then return to the task at hand. "You will go into estr

Lyric Adams pov Cesan leaned over me suddenly and hovered there staring into my eyes that shone off his own. He smiled as he nodded and said, “We should head back before your brother sends guards.” I let out the breath I held, wishing for him to have kissed me, but he hadn't. “Okay,” I responded in disappointment while I lowered my face. Feeling his fingers underneath my chin, I glanced at him and grinned as he pressed his mouth firmly against mine. My hands snaked slowly around his neck, and I felt his silky hair and moaned softly against his lips. Pulling him down so I was on my back, he held my ribcage as our kiss deepened. Feeling his hardening flesh against my mons, I turned my face when Ojani murmured Camden's name. I muttered sternly, “We can't do this.” “Maybe you could come to my house and stay the night…oh shit, what am I thinking,” he growled as he sat up. Side-eyeing me with a sorrowful frown, Cesan looked ashamed of himself. “Sorry, Lyric, I um, I

Lyric Adams pov Salem undid the buttons daftly and commented on the lovely dress. “How did you button them?” He asked me as he finished. Pretending like I hadn't heard him, I held my bodice while I grabbed a tee and my blue jeans. “Sister! Who buttoned up your gown?!” He growled sternly. “I asked Cesan to help,” I replied as I shut my bathroom door to change, then cringed, hearing him roar out Cesan's name. “ Why does he not like that man? I realize that he's jealous, but there's got to be more,” I muttered softly. “Ask Cesan during your walk. I'm sure he will be forthcoming with you,” Ojani answered. After getting dressed and hanging up the gown, I checked on my reflection, then went to Cesan's room. Standing in the hall before his door, I didn't notice Camden watching me in the shadows as I knocked. The door opened suddenly, and Casen stuck his head out and grinned. “Ready, beautiful?” Nodding, I told him yes shyly. “Fantastic,” he asserted as he exited, t
