I pursed my lips at Jackson's declaration.

He'd decided to give Ezra a chance Which I thought was a bad idea in itself but I knew there was no way I could change his mind, so I didn't bother to argue with him. Besides, the man was the reason we were alive. He'd given us an entire army to help us fight off the rogues. Telling Jackson the man was not to be trusted without a reasonable explanation would be as futile as telling him the sun was shining during a full moon night.

"Alright, then. Seems you've made your decision. I'll see you later, I need to sleep."

I said and Jackson nodded, dismissing me from his office.

He had a lot to think about and do, especially about his personal life just like I did and I didn't want to disturb him any further.
