Jackson:

After what had happened yesterday, I got the news that Roselyn was leaving. I was devastated and angry that she was leaving. Just when things were starting to grow better between us Selene had to show up claiming to be pregnant for me.

Talking to Roselyn and telling her to stay with me would have made no sense. She would have left anyway, I know how strong and adamant she has become over the years that she has stayed away from me and Roselyn would not stay back.

When Mirabel had brought her evidence which was fake to me I saw it as an opportunity to stop Roselyn from leaving. It would get her upset and she would hate me more than she does now but it would give me the chance to try to fix things and all I needed was time.
