Gerald summoned his henchmen and gave them a new mission. They were tasked to search for Virginia’s step-father, Patrick and his acquaintances. None of the henchmen dared to ask their boss about the purpose of the task because Gerald looked furious. But then, Harold was the only one asking the angry Gerald about the meaning of the current task.

Gerald spoke up with high tone, “Those damn scroundels hurt my wife! They need to pay what they did!”

With the exclamation given by the mafia boss, Harold and the others obeyed the order and they got ready soon after that.

Gerald told Harold about the address of Patrick’s house after he asked Virginia. In case Patrick was not at home during the raid, Harold asked the intel team to get specific information about Patrick’s usual visits.

Before the mission started, Gerald told Harold that they should capture Patrick alive. There was no need to kill anyone if possible. He also commanded that they did it properly without letting the cops interrupt their action. Harold nodded and he promised that he would do the mission perfectly.

Knowing that the mafia started to get busy. Cedric and Michelle was curious. They wondered what happened this time.

“Hey, what’s happening?” Cedric tried to ask a henchman that ran into him.

“Oh, hello Young Master. The boss has given us a new mission,” answered the henchman.

“What kind of mission? You guys look so busy.” Cedric asked again.

“We are going to get some people who made the Boss’ new wife hurt,” replied the henchman.

“Ah, I see. Good luck then!” Cedric had enough information. He let the henchman continue his activity.

“Tch! That woman again? Daddy gave too much attention on her! I will never accept her!” Michelle was annoyed. She was still unable to accept her new mother.

“Hmm, I don’t know. That woman really looks like our mother but she is kind of different of course. But at least we can see now that Father looks a bit lively.” Cedric tried to express his opinion.

“Oh come on, don’t tell me you are going to accept her!” Michelle fold her arms while giving her sour expression on her brother.

“No, I still can’t accept her… yet. Let’s see this through first.” Cedric felt something started to disturb his mind. Deep within his heart, he was actually interested in Virginia.

Gerald then returned back to his room and he suddenly hugged Virginia gently. Virginia did not know what just happened and she got confused with her situation right now. This man suddenly hugged him without saying anything. But, Virginia could feel that his body temperature was quite high and she could feel Gerald’s heartbeat so fast. This kind of feeling, Virginia thought that Gerald needed to be calmed down.

“It’s fine… your illness will be recovered…” Virginia tried to calm her husband down. She hugged Gerald back while patting his back. Soon after that, Gerald’s grip got a bit stronger and it made Virginia surprised for a moment. But then, Virginia let the big man stay with this position until he felt better.

“Thanks my dear Virginia. I promise I will give you happiness.” Gerald thanked Virginia for giving him comfort.

The newly married couple started to understand a bit about each other.

Meanwhile, Patrick was having fun with his friends. After he sold his daughter to the mafia boss, he got lots of cash with him. He paid his debt to Mick but his way of living has not changed. He kept on gambling and used his money to buy alcohols. He was drowned to his greed and eventually lost his value of humanity.

This time, Patrick invited Mick and the others to his house. He used few of his money to make a little party with them. He treated everyone some snacks and alcohols. While enjoying their spree time, they did not forget to do a little more gambling by playing domino cards.

“Ah shit! I lost!” Mick shouted in disappointment. He lost the current game against Patrick.

“Bhahahaha! Noob! Gimme your money, you damn leecher!” Patrick looked so satisfied because he won the game. He was half drunk. He grabbed the money like a madman.

Mick’s expression showed off an annoyance at his friend. He had no money left with him. He was determined to win the later game. “By the way, you really are a bastard, buddy. How could you sell your daughter’s life?” Mick wanted to forget his defeat and he tried to change the topic.

“Oh geez. She is not even my real daughter. Why do I even care? I believe she is now happy to reunite with her parents!” Patrick smirked. He did not feel any regret at all.

“Buddy, you’re Devil!” Mick remarked and then he laughed so hard.

“Bahaha! You are making a deal with Devil! Sell your life to me I will make use of it for sure!” Patrick kept on spamming nonsense words. He drank more alcohol and started to get drunk even more.

“No thank you! I would rather pray to God and wish that you get divine punishment! Hahaha!” Mick kept on replying.

“Bah! Now you are talking about faith! Look at yourself, sinner! There is no way people will believe that you are a good guy! Don’t you agree with me, fellas?” Patrick countered Mick’s statement.

The others could only say that none of them looked like good people. It was impossible. They have fallen deep into the path of heretics. Some of the guys also suggested that they should forgot anything that could bothering their mind and enjoy things that they had right now. After that, the guys laughed so hard because they should not have think much about something so stupid.

The party continued until it got pretty late at night. They screamed and laughed in craze. Their annoying noises could be heard from the outside of the house.

The more they kept on playing, the more they spit more random talks. However, none of them would realize that something bad would happen to them sooner or later.
