I've been despised a lot, I have spent all my life weighed down with the hatred that I have felt from different individuals, but never have I ever seen this sort of hatred before

The hostility that shines in the eyes, that makes your irises turn a different shade when speaking with someone, and yet, there is something there

Something that is being hidden despite all the spiteful words that left off his mouth

I'm standing motionless as he walks away with the kid, my hands are still left open from the way he dragged the baby away from me

So many things going on at the same time and yet so many things not happening

Finally, recollecting myself, I turned around to see him take the exit. His posture is straight and his strides long, but the anger can be traced to the back of his shoulder.
