“Maybe I did,” he mumbled.

“Why?” I sighed.

“Because...Lincoln wanted to be with her. He was telling me about how bad he missed her.”

“Oh,” the only thing I said. It disappointed me, because I wanted me to be the reason of it. “And that’s the only reason?”

He nodded slightly. “Yeah. Which other reason should be here?”

I nodded. “Right,” I whispered and turned on my heel to leave, but he stopped me.

“Did you miss me?” he asked, grabbing my arm.

I didn’t know what to say, because if I told the truth, my pride would omit down.

“I feel the same, as you do,” were the only words, that could come into my head.

And I left.
