Loving Her

Ashlyn didn't think twice before slamming open the door to the laboratory and entering. Her foot stomped the ground, and her glaring eyes filled with dissatisfaction fell on the smiling man.

Elijah wore a lab coat while holding on to a test tube. The sleeves were pulled up, revealing his veiny and muscular arm, and his hair was messily brushed back. Ashlyn took a second to admire this attractive sight before her anger came back again.

"You are here. You took a while. I was getting a little bored waiting for you," the man expressed.

The audacity of him to speak like that!

She folded her hands over her chest and asked, "Is it fun to mess with me?"

"You are cute," Elijah expressed.

Ashlyn glowered at him harder at that and questioned, "You knew I would be here?"

"Well, I had a guess that you will be too mad to sleep tonight. You at least have to punch me a couple times before you can peacefully close your eyes."

Ashlyn bit the insides of her mouth.
