Chapter 75: Regain Justice

Because the car from the south side of the city takes two hours to get here, everyone had to wait.

Jennifer glared at the man who was helping Emily disinfect and bandage the wound caused by the glass fragment.

Jennifer didn't understand what it was about that girl that attracted men, so wherever she went, men took care of her, even when she had nothing left in her hands.

“Are you in a lot of pain?” Kurt asked after bandaging Emily's wound.

“No.” She shook her head.

“Don't cry, I'm here, I will get justice for you.” He pulled out a handkerchief, gave it to her, and gently comforted her.

He knew she wasn't crying because of pain but because of self-pity. Who wouldn't be sad when they fall into this situation?

If no one talks about it, she's okay, but once someone intentionally brings up the past, how can she not be hurt?
