“Teddy?!” She asked with wide, fearful eyes.
I was still shocked that she was standing in front of me! I had always been attracted to her in high school. I was disappointed when she allowed herself to be treated like a slave by the pack slut! I always felt protective over her but never understood why, until now. My wolf, Loki, instantly accepted her as our mate. I was pulled out of my shock when Vex placed her hands on my back in a possessive manner. Loki pushed for control so fast that I was too late in stopping him. He spun around and had her wrist in a vice grip that felt like he was breaking a bone. “If you EVER touch me like that again I will rip your arm off and beat you to death with it!” He then threw her hand away, forcefully.
