“What happened last night that resulted in the changes in patrols?” Charles asked as he entered our shared office. I’d been up since before dawn. I couldn’t sleep. Irving was restless worrying about Sarael, and I’ll admit so was I. I”d gone for a run and hit the training grounds to try and work out these feelings.
