His expression changed for just a moment—surprise, perhaps—but he quickly composed himself.

“Mr. Adrian ,” Dr. Cole greeted.

Adrian gave him a slight nod.

“Doctor.”

Dr. Cole glanced at Isabella, then back at Adrian

“I'd like to speak with you in private.”

“Private?” Isabella asked immediately.

She looked between the two men, confusion spreading across her face.

“What’s going on?”

Neither of them answered.

Dr. Cole walked toward the door, and Adrian followed him out.

The door closed behind them.

Isabella stared at the closed door, Her eyebrows furrowed.

“What is going on?” she whispered.

She looked around the room at the five men who were still standing there silently.

“Why is nobody talking to me?”

Adrian walked into Dr. Cole’s office with a serious expression.

Dr. Cole looked at him for a moment before a small smile appeared on his face. “Still wearing that scary face, I see.”

Adrian gave him a brief look. “You know me.”

“I do.” Dr. Cole chuckled. “Now, sit down.

Adrian took a seat across from him.

Dr. Cole leaned back in his chair, sighed and removed his glasses

“So, what happened to the girl?”

Adrian’s expression became serious again.

“The girl you brought here… her name is Isabella.”

Adrian remained silent

“She has lost five years of her memory.”

His  eyebrows lifted. “Five years?”

“Yes.” Cole replied

Adrian fell silent for a moment. Then his mind went back to Isabella’s face

That face.

Those eyes.

The resemblance was almost impossible. “How does she look exactly like her?” Adrian murmured.

Dr. Cole's smile disappeared.

“I was thinking the same thing.” He paused.

“But there’s one difference.”

Adrian looked at him.

“Isabella doesn't have the black dots behind her ear.”

Adrain slowly nodded.

“Yeah. I noticed that yesterday.”

Dr. Cole was quiet for a moment. “Do you think she’s back?”

Adrian’s expression hardened.

“Back? No, I don’t think that possible"

“Do you think she’s the one?” Dr. Cole asked carefully. “Maybe she covered up the dots. Maybe she had them removed.”

Adrian shook his head slightly.

“I don’t know.”

He leaned back in his chair, thinking. “But I’m going to find out.”

Dr. Cole watched him.“So what are you going to do?” Asked with a calm look

“First, I need to know everything about her.” Adrian paused, before asking another question

“How long is she going to stay here?”

“If there are no complications, she should be able to leave by tomorrow,” Dr. Cole replied.

Adrian nodded. “Okay. Thanks, man.”

“Anytime.”

He stood up. “After you finish work today, I’m taking you out.”

Dr. Cole raised an eyebrow. “Taking me out?”

“Yeah, we need to talk.”

Dr. Cole smiled.

“About her?”

“Obviously.” Adrian replied with a little smile

“Fine. No problem.”

With  that he turned toward the door.

But before he could reach the door, a loud voice was already coming from down the hallway.

“LET ME GO!”

They both froze.

“I NEED MY PHONE!”

Dr. Cole sighed.

Adrian looked toward the door.

Another shout followed.

“I WANT TO GO HOME!”

He exchanged a look with Dr. Cole who was about to stand up

“Don’t worry I'll handle it.” With that Adrian stepped out of the office.

~~~~~~<~<<<
“What is wrong with you people?!”
Isabella struggled against the uncomfortable feeling in her chest as she looked around the room.
“I want to go home!”
The five men remained silent. Or let’s say doing their job
She became even more frustrated.
“I need my family! Where is my phone?”
No one answered.
“Where is my phone?!” This time with a loud voice
She looked around frantically. Then her eyes fell on the IV attached to her hand.
She grabbed it. “I'm leaving.”
One of the men immediately stepped forward.
“Ma’am, please—”
“Don't touch me!” She pulled her hand away.
“You people kidnapped me!”
“Ma’am—”
“I'm calling the police, you all will go to prison”
She reached toward the IV as if she were about to pull it out.  “ give me my phone and let me go or else I will kill myself “
“ ma’am please calm down”
“I swear, if you don't tell me what is going on, I'm going to—”
The door opened, Adrian walked in.
The moment Isabella saw him, she froze.
Her hand was still on the IV, She remembered him.
He was the man who had walked into the room earlier. For some reason, his presence made her suddenly quiet.
Adrian looked at her, then at the IV in her hand. His face was blank.
“You want to pull it out?” he said coldly. “Go ahead. Pull it.”
Isabella stared at him, her hand shaking.
“You kidnapped me!” she snapped. “Are you... are you a human trafficker?!”
He actually laughed. A short, humorless laugh. He dragged the chair closer with one hand and sat down, his big frame taking up space, eyes fixed on her.
“Human trafficker?” He looked her up and down. “ Ragazza, if I wanted to kidnap girls, you think I’d pick you?”
“Then why am I here? Why am I here?!”
His smile disappeared. His voice went low and dead serious.
“Because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. And now you’re my responsibility now”
He stood up slowly and walked closer to her, He was much taller than her.
“Listen to me and listen well because I don’t like repeating myself.”
Isabella froze.
“If you want to see your parents again, you will calm down, get back on that bed, and let the doctor do his job.”
He leaned closer, hands in his pockets, looking down at her like she was wasting his time.
“You don’t cooperate, you don’t see them. You cooperate, you go home fast. Your choice.”
A long silence. His eyes were cold, no emotion at all.
“I said, sit down.”
Isabella's lip trembled. Slowly, she removed her hand from the IV and climbed back onto the bed and lay down.
Adrian didn't say a word. He just stood there, looking down at her. Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone and raised it.
Click.
He took a picture of her.
Her eyes widened.
"What are you doing?! Why are you taking a picture of me?!"
He didn't answer. He just looked down at his phone, scrolling, completely ignoring her like she wasn't even speaking while walking towards the door
“Wait “
She took a slow sip, her eyes locked on both of them.The room felt heavier than before. Then she smiled. A small, dangerous smile.“So…” she replied quietly, placing the glass down.“You’re both still going to pretend nothing is happening?”Noval blinked. Jac
