Chapter 17: Mary Alice

I hold back a yawn. I didn’t get much sleep last night with all of our chatting and getting to know each other. It was hard for me to get out of bed this morning and it was harder to get ready without waking Leopold up. When I left his apartment, he was still soundly asleep. Of course, he is the boss’ son, so he can come to the office any time he wants. No one is going to say anything if he comes in late or even if the takes the day off. He probably won’t even come to the office at all today, which is ok because I don’t have the energy to be his assistant today... although, I wonder if he’ll still be rude to me at work now that we are “engaged”, I hope not.
