COLT

I twisted the throttle, raising the bike till it was standing on just the back tire.

Pedestrians on the road gasped, and some pointed in my direction.

I smiled, temporarily feeling ten feet tall.

I was itching to race. Although I bought a new bike, I have yet to find a biker's community here in Rome.

Fuck it all. I'll return to the US tomorrow morning.

I turned the bike around, suddenly bored, and drove back home.

I could as well go to bed early since I had a long flight ahead of me come morning.

One of the bodyguards took the bike from me as soon as I got off, while the other stretched his hand out for my helmet.

“Happy birthday, sir,” he said, grinning brightly.

I blinked, taken aback by the unusual cheerfulness.

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   If you'll not control her, I will

I managed to have Emma delay the board for another hour while I paced my office, waiting for the almighty Fletcher brothers. My belly was in knots. The Auclairs have become a part of the board since the merger, and Emma confirmed that my aunt was indeed in the boardroom with the rest. All this because Colt just had to be Colt and treat me like his property, even in public.I looked around my office for something to distract myself, my eyes drinking in the creamy decor, exposed bricks and floor-to-ceiling windows that looked right out to the billion-dollar corporate zone and all their skyscrapers.I had not gotten a chance to check my new office before we flew to Rome. But this was not bad at all. A little too luxurious and lush, of course, but it should grow on me.I groaned at the knock on the door.Just when I’d finally managed to distract my mind with mundane things...“What is it, Emma?” I sighed, and the door opened a crack.“Ms Auclair is insistent on seeing you.” Emma looked n

When the fist finally loosened its hold on my chest, I realized Colt was mopping sweat off my brows. Those hazel eyes bright with worry, his brows knitted in concentration.“Stop this.” I pushed away from him, standing up. Then I stood still for a second because the room contracted and expanded around me.I gulped air down and continued, “Stop the pretense. All you had to do was be honest.”I walked around him, as he stared up at me, perplexed. I kept my eyes away from the Oscar-worthy shot of him on one knee, wet rag in hand, and staring up at me with innocent eyes.“You wanted to fuck?” I glanced at him, “I wanted the same too. Hated your brother and wanted to fuck him over? Hell yea, count me in.” I raised the camera still in my hand.“But this?” I shook my head. “I don’t play shit like this. I am too old for games.”“How're you feeling now?” His voice was calm as he stood up, throwing me off guard.I had no idea Colt could be calm. Before, and right after my wedding to his brot

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   You're mean

I stared up at Colt, my eyes narrowing by the second till they became incredulous slits. It all makes sense now. Asking me here so suddenly, fucking my brains out and bringing up this discussion right in the middle of fucking my brains out.Anthony and Cleopatra my foot.“You never changed.” My voice came out hurt, wondering how the hell I fell into his trap twice? His head snapped back, his face confused. I pushed him off and hurried to the bedroom. “Olivia.” he grabbed my arm. I whirled around and shoved him, yelling, “get your hands off me,” without a care if anyone heard me.The confused and hurt look in his eyes annoyed me even more.Fuck. How stupid had I been? He was such a good actor.“Will you at least talk to me?” he thundered finally as I threw his bed-covers around, searching for my lingerie.“How foolish did you think I was?” I whirled around. “The stupid, fat, horny bitch who would do anything to please Colt the hottie.” I lashed out, hating, absolutely hating how my

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   Money Laudering?

I lay flat on my back, panting like I’d sprinted uphill. But my ears were sharp, my attention hooked, as Colt laid out the plan. His advice was solid, surprisingly so for a man who didn't look like he read or knew anything about business. His ideas were the standard tricks to buying your competitors out of their own business. Create a neutral trust to start buying into their shares. Or set up a company with anonymous investors and begin purchasing shares at an easy pace to avoid drawing attention.“Is this a setup for money laundering, Colt?” I teased, turning on my side to face him.He flashed me that smile that had begun to stir things in my belly lately. Things that frightened me.“We’re in this together, Sonsy,” a lone finger journeyed to caress a strand of my hair back. “If this is money laundering, we'll wear matching orange coveralls.”I pulled an inch away so I could think clearly. There was something about Colt that made me want to fuck him every minute of every day. As

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   A conversation

OLIVIAThe thought of dawn was unbearable. I wanted to remain in this magic. This pleasure chamber, far removed from the eerie house and chaos that was my life. “You've been bad.” His hands and tongue ravaged my body. And I moaned, breathless under him. His lips were warm, his tongue curious, and his teeth greedy.“aahn,” my body tried to escape his grasp. But he yanked me back in position, his grip bordering on pain. “You've been very bad.” he murmured in my ear, his breath hot against my neck, fingers squeezing my thigh. My breath hitched. Wrapped in his essence like this, his skin directly on mine, I felt a little like him. An unclear boundary where Oliva stopped and Colt began. We were one.No shower could take his scent, that rich woody smell, off my skin now.But he pulled away suddenly, bringing me back to reality with this awful topic. “We need to protect you, baby.” His voice was curdled.“Colt,” my left hand slid down his back. Why could he not just drop it?I discu

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   Cleopatra and Anthony

Olivia lay on her chest, her naked back exposed and shiny under the warm lights. “Cleopatra and Anthony,” I said, slowly drawing rings I imagined being wedding rings on her back.“Mmm.” she responded, her voice groggy with sleep. I watched her, entranced by her many personalities. Her default was the fierce businesswoman, arrogant and cocky, smart and intelligent. And other times, she was the sexy hot vixen, dripping allure like hot lava. But her other personality was soft, the sweet girl with full cheeks, and deep dimples when she smiled. The version of her that stayed in my brain all these years.“We’re heading for doom,” I said quietly, and that wiped the contented smile off her face. Her eyes snapped open, frowning, and I hated that I stole that smile. “What do you mean?”“Cleopatra and Anthony.” I repeated. She frowned and turned, so her back was to the bed and her tits lay bare and inviting. I sighed my looming arousal away, and followed her eyes to the clock. It was 3:00
