LOGINChapter 3
Seraphina's POV
I barely made it through our apartment door when my brother's voice hit me like a slap.
"What the hell, Sera?"
He stood there in his expensive clothes, looking perfect as always while I was a mess with blood on my leggings.
"Why did you disobey me? I told you to stay in class until the games and celebration were over!"
My thigh throbbed painfully…. I just wanted to clean my wound and sleep. "I was assigned to serve, and I wanted to watch the race Blake, you know I love watching that."
He laughed like I made the biggest joke in history. "Racing isn't for fat girls." His eyes narrowed. "And did you try to seduce Axel? Cora said you did that, are you stupid?"
"That's not true." My voice came out tiny.
"You expect me to believe Axel was suddenly defending you out I the blue after knowing you for like Six years plus? He cut me off, making me feel stupid as always. "What did you show him, your ass, your armpits, you're Pathetic."
Something in my chest cracked, it's a rage I've been suppressing for months, years and goddess help me not to snap, it won't be good.
"It's useless talking to you. You're just like them….Can you leave now, I need to change up."
His eyes dropped to Axel's shirt clutched against my chest, he had dropped it over my wounded leg and left. "Give me that."
"No." I held it tighter. "I'll give it back to Axel."
He moved so fast I didn't see it coming. He ripped the shirt from my hands, tearing the shirt in the process.
"Stay home, Sera. You're embarrassing me every fucking day of my life, why can't you try to act normal without making a huge scene?"
Tears burned hot down my face and I shook my head. "I hate this… I hate my life and it's better you act as if you don't know me either so I will stop embarrassing you."
His face softened a little. "I'll call a doctor for your leg. You're lucky Axel showed up when he did."
That broke me bad, he has no fucking right to act like the big brother he never was, I hated when he pretends to care.
"Fuck off!" I screamed. "I don't need your help!"
His eyes widened like I just poured him acid, I'd never talked back before.
"Don't pretend you care about me Blake, A real brother wouldn't treat his sister like she's garbage. You hide me like I'm something to be ashamed of so don't ever try to care..!"
I slammed my door so hard the walls shook.
In the shower, I watched blood swirl down the drain. The cut from Knox's glass was ugly and deep and it would leave a scar, one more reason to hide my body.
At least tomorrow was the full moon. I'd go home to my parents' Pack where I could breathe without being judged. My mom was the only person who truly loved me as I was.
I'd given up on finding my mate. Who would want a fat girl when they could have someone like Cora?
My phone lit up with Dad's call and I picked it up, "Baby girl," his deep voice made me feel safe. "We're having a celebration and competition display at home. I want you to participate."
My heart did a little dance. "I'll be there, Dad but I'm not participating in the competition.
“Sera…” He sighed sadly but I shook my head.
“I'm not displaying my wolf to anyone, please don't let me do this…I just want to see you and mum.” I begged him. Every two years, Our Pack holds the biggest strength competition immediately after the full moon as a celebration to those who found their wolves and who shifted for the first time. It was always interesting but I dare not try to show myself.
“It's okay, come home quickly, your mother misses you too.” I told him I loved him and cut the call, for the first time in weeks, I fell asleep smiling.
****
Everyone at school was buzzing about some competition. My stomach hurt from hunger and my brother's punishment meant no food since yesterday.
Gracie walked up to me with a fake smile plastered on her perfect face. Her tight jeans and leather jacket made her look like a model.
"Sera," she said sweetly, "I'm inviting you to my friend's pack tonight for a wolf display."
"I can't Gracie, I'll be busy," I mumbled, pulling my oversized sweater down.
A girl behind her snickered. "What would make you busy? A mate?"
The class erupted in laughter and I bit my lips in embarrassment. "Her mate would kill himself!" someone shouted.
Cora appeared, gorgeous in red lipstick. "She'd cause an earthquake before finding a mate…common guys, stop making her hallucinate"
I wanted to disappear.
Gracie handed me a blue-sealed invitation. "You should come serve drinks atleast, the exercise would do you good and you can run some errands to make you slim down even though it would take you some decades."
I recognized the blue seal. Our Pack gave out such invitations to low ranking members, Gold invitations were for the Beta Ranks and the Platinum one was for the Alpha’s.
"This isn't for me," I said quietly and gave it back to her.
She smiled at me, displaying her teeth. "Of course not. I'll be competing, not serving. I can't accept this cause my mum gave it to me so you'll be taking my place instead or else, you won't want a repeat of what happened yesterday and last week right?"
I stuffed the invitation in my bag without another word, what happened last week was a memory that haunted me. I had refused to do her assignment and she ganged up with the others to throw me in the school pool after luring me out with a text.
The classroom door opened, and my heart stopped beating.
Axel walked in, beautiful and dangerous in black jeans and a tight gray shirt. His tattoo peeked out from his collar and everyone went quiet.
He didn't even look at me,he has never looked at me and if I knew better, he hated that we were in the same class.
While the lectures were ongoing, something hit my head and it was a paper ball. I ignored it until another one hit me and the teacher noticed. "Miss Sera! Stop disrupting my class."
"I wasn't—"
She came over before I could respond and picked up one of the papers beside me and I was relieved. I thought she'd finally see what Cora was doing.
Instead, her face hardened. "This behavior is unacceptable. What is this?"
I grabbed the paper and felt sick reading it: "Axel, I really want to choke on your cock again. Sorry for taking your shirt. Can we meet in the bathroom after class? —Seraphina"
"I didn't write this!" My voice shook.
"Out!" she ordered.
“I didn't do this, Cora did that and she kept throwing that on me..” I cried out but Cora yelled at me instead.
“Shut the fuck up Sera, everyone her knows how you're so hung up with Axel who doesn't gives a fuck about you! You wrote that your self, who else has an ugly handwriting like you!”
Gracie snatched the paper and read it out loud. Axel turned, his green eyes finding mine for a second before he looked away.
I ran out, tears blurring my vision. I was so tired. Tired of being invisible
and tired of being hated, no one fucking listens to me.
Chapter 5Axel's POVI was confused and broken, but fuck my life if my mate didn't smell like rose berries. My mate? Goddess! What's all this?I watched her run away, tears streaming down her chubby face, and felt my wolf howl in protest. I never saw her that way. Never liked her, but never really hated her either. I just hated that she was loud. Hated that she was big. Hated that she couldn't do anything to fix herself. And she was my best friend's sister. I've known Blaic since forever. Knew he was gonna be an Alpha someday. The only reason I ever tolerated Sera was because she was an Alpha's daughter—a powerful one at that but I couldn't say it.But her looks? Hell fucking no!"Goddamn it," I muttered, running my hand through my hair. "This can't be happening."I prayed she wouldn't trip as she ran. The last thing I needed was my mate sprawled on the ground for everyone to see.I don't want a big fat mate. The embarrassment would kill me. And sharing her with the others? No fucking
Chapter 4 Knox's POVI blew out a cloud of smoke, watching it curl against the night sky. Where the fuck were they? I checked my watch again, tapping my foot impatiently against the gravel. The warehouse was too quiet, making my skin itch."Goddamn it," I muttered, pulling my leather jacket tighter against the chill. My fingers ruffled through my hair, messing it up in that way the girls loved. Not that I gave a shit. I had bigger problems than looking pretty tonight. All we had to do was leave school, handle this business, and get back before anyone noticed we were gone. But trusting those Summer West Academy punks was clearly a mistake. The little bastards had the balls to break into our warehouse and steal the bikes we needed for next week's racing competition."Fucking disaster," I growled to myself. This race brought in more cash than anything else we did. Everyone placed bets, just like they did with our fights. And now some punk-ass kids had stolen our bikes and left their fuc

Chapter 2 Seraphina's POVI didn't know how to react. How could I explain that I'd just slipped and splattered drink into one of the most dangerous Biker Alphas in school and destroyed their medal? Yes! There was a medal on that table and it came crashing on the group the moment Gracie did that thing with her leg to me.Goddess!Silence fell over the entire great hall like a burial shroud. Hundreds of eyes turned toward me, toward the destruction I'd caused, knowing Knox now dripping with champagne and rage.Knox rose slowly from his chair, champagne streaming from his dark hair down his face. His eyes which reeked with pure danger locked onto mine."You fat fucking clumsy bitch," he said quietly. So quietly that somehow it was worse than screaming.I knelt among the broken glass, my hands shaking as I tried to clean up the impossible mess. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean—""Get up." His voice cut through my babbling. "Now."I stood on unsteady legs, champagne soaking through
Chapter 1Seraphina's POVThe celebration at Silver Crest Royal Academy pulsed around me like a living adrenaline mixed with laughter, music, and the electric energy of wolves drunk on triumph. Tonight, the B4 had dominated the inter-pack racing competition, and every student in the great hall seemed to glow with reflected glory.Everyone except me.I weaved through the crowd with my serving tray, invisible as always. I'm always a walking ghost carrying drinks to people who looked through me like I was made of air pumped right inside my flesh. "Excuse me," I whispered to a group of the cheerleading girls blocking my path but they didn't move or tried to notice me so I squeezed past them, my shoulder bag catching on one girl's perfectly curled hair which made her turn abruptly and wince."Ugh, watch it." she snapped, then did a double-take when she saw who'd bumped her. "Oh…. It's just the scholarship fatso, can you try not to break my bones next time, I'm so fragile please."Her fri
