Pierce POV

“People get jealous of Rosa, besides, I think she just wanted to use you for herself. I don't think she ever liked you and you should be glad that she is out of your life. Most people don't have the chance to work out before something happens to them” he said and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

“Just take a deep breath and rest. Okay? I am by your side, and I will make sure nothing happens,” he assured her.

Pierce watched as she heaved a sigh and fell asleep.

Immediately, Rosa fell asleep. He rolled her to her side of the bed and wrapped her arms around a teddy bear before walking away.
