Chapter 13

Brielle's POV

Walking into the dining room I looked around for Killian as it was already 7:45. He was extremely angry after yesterday's encounter with Calvin. Though I was curious to see where he was since he's usually on time, I was pretty relieved he wasn't here yet. I could finally get something's done without having him breathe down my neck. Benjamin was busy tending to Delilah and left our food out, which was still freshly hot.

I sat at the table and pulled my laptop out. I signed in as I put a piece of bacon in my mouth. Opening my bank account, my eyes almost came out of their sockets and I choked slightly. I took a small sip of orange juice to compose myself and I looked back to the screen. $2000? I have never seen this much in my bank account.. and only after working one week? With everything going on I completely forgot to pay my bills and they were all over due. I went into each one and paid the rightful amount plus late fee so they could receive it in a few business days.
