Leave or Stay

I woke up in a hospital room. I repeatedly blinked and rub my eyes to clear my vision. I looked around the room and saw my mom sleeping on a chair beside my hospital bed.

“M-Mom...Mom,” I called her. She woke up and immediately approached me worriedly.

“Savannah! Are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?” I realized what happened to me so I suddenly panicked.

“Relax, your baby is safe. Your child is strong so don’t worry.” I felt relieved after hearing that. “Why didn’t you tell me that you’re pregnant? I could have helped you.”
