Chapter 61: Stolen composition

Rosalynn’s POV.

“Let go of her! Step away immediately.” Katherine forcefully yanked Christine's hand from my blouse and shoved her away.

Tears streamed down Christine's face, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. The chaotic scene quickly drew the attention of many onlookers, who pointed and murmured disapprovingly at Katherine and me.

I hesitated to help her up, but she persisted in shaking her head. "No, Rosalynn. I implore you, please, just let us be?”

“What are you saying? Can't we calmly resolve this? We're in a hospital, your disruption affects many others.” I furrowed my brow and pulled her up. “Stand up!”

Once Christine was on her feet, she clung tightly to my arm, refusing to let us leave. Reflecting on our first meeting, her demeanor was confident and somewhat arrogant, a far cry from her current state of distress. And furthermore, she was in a hospital... Could Nolan be here too?

“Let’s find somewhere else to talk,” I gently untangled her fingers from mine and calmly sugge
