Ria looked up at him, concerned etched across her beautiful pale skin. The man slowly approached her. He took her hands in his and said, "How have you been doing?"

"I'm fine," she lied. But he detected that lie immediately. Nate moved back to give the siblings some time together.

"Don't lie. I know everything," his gentle voice made Ria open up. She threw her arms around his waist and cried once again into his shoulders. Her tears stained his expensive suit but he didn't care. Nothing was more important than his sister.

After a while of crying, Ria wiped her tears and runny nose with the handkerchief he gave her. Then he pushed the object into her hand. She raised her head to look at him, puzzled at his actions.
