Chapter Twenty Five

Derrick arrived at the company at exactly 10 am. He was an hour late, as his flight has been rescheduled to the next hour. He walked hastily into the office in his haste to see Sheila, he had been calling her all through his flight back but she wasn't picking up. She was definitely still angry with him about what happened. 

He stepped onto his floor and the first thing that clouded his sight was Sheila. Heaven knew he wanted nothing more than to hold and kiss her breathless, that was the only thing that he had been able to think about all through his trip anyways. 

Sheila felt someone's gaze lingering on her body, she turned to see who it was and it was no other person than her boss, Derrick Moore. Her eyes were lost in his for a moment before she quickly looked away not acknowledging his presence.

She had made a promise to herself that she would not allow him to distract her, she would only come to this office and work… nothing more.
