Ruined But Saved

"Ahh, you mean he isn't in a special relationship with you?" 

"No, we are not! Because I wa......" Before she could complete her sentence she felt a sudden arm curl around her waist, surprising her and even the press. 

"I and Miss Schaffer here are in a serious relationship," Turning to face the owner of the hand around her waist, and the owner of the voice, she was surprised to see the guy who had taken advantage of her two nights before. 

"What are you doing here?" She asked angrily, staring into the pair of Aqua blue eyes, which stared down at her, as she tried pulling away from him. 

He pulls her body closer to his, with his beautiful thin lips holding a smile "Saving you" he answered.

"I don't think I need your help, after ruining my life," She said in greeted teeth. 

"Just a minute with my wife," He held a finger up for the press, who would sure be good at firing guns, with the way the camera light went on and off on the duo. 

"Your fvcking what...." Ida asked, hearing him call her 'his wife' 

"Sure, Mr. Reid!!" She heard the press say in unison as if they knew who the dumb ass was. 

"Am not ruining your life, planning to make a good out of it, you think that little explanation you are planning to give would save you from them. No it won't,  you would be humiliated even more because your bandmates had something more under their sleeves ..." He said and she gulped hard before averting her gaze. 

He brought his lips down to her ear "How much do you worth? Just state it, I would double the prize" 

'In this kind of situation he had brought her in, he dare asked her this crazy question. 

Ida's lips trembled in anger and pure humiliation "Just because you think you helped me doesn't give you the right to belittle me, don't think you are also off the hook, am reporting you to the cops after this, and you would surely rot in jail trust me" She said, before hearing him chuckle lightly, and then he took her hands in his "You're making me want you more!" 

"We need a quick explanation from Ms Schaeffer for not telling us about Mr Reid being her husband, and from you Mr. Reid for not making it known to the masses that you had a wife..." 

'Reid!' The last name sunk into Ida's head again, and then realization struck her before looking back at the deadly handsome man, whose eyes never left hers 'Corbin Reid' the devil in the business world and eldest legitimate son of the richest family in Texas. 

'That's why he looked so calm when she said she would sue him, this man was the law, no one had ever crossed and go scot-free'. 

"Because it meant to be kept a secret just between us!" Corbin was never a person who smiled much in photographs, so she had thought he would be cold and aloof in person, but he had been smiling crazily like a maniac since he had arrived. 

A maniac she hated, and would forever hate, for putting her in this crisis. 

"Uhh, bu...." 

"What else do you want to know?" It felt like a normal question, but Ida could sense something like a warning or threat beneath his deep voice, which scared the female press who was about to ask a question earliar. 

"No..nothing," 

Taking her hand in his large palm, Corbin walked out of the hall with her, going to face the restless  masses once again, who had calmed a little. 

Even without a bodyguard helping them, the crowd created a passage for them to pass freely 'Maybe because of the man beside her, because who would dare cross his path?". 

"Mr. Reid, prove to us that you are married to Ms. Schaeffer, everyone here wants to know if it is real and if all that you had said in there was true!" A male press summoning up enough courage stood in front of the duo. 

"The pictures, and the short video clips, isn't that enough proof, or should we try practicing it in front of everyone here to make you believe that we are married" Corbin said, and Ida felt her cheeks heating up "Or should we, love?" He asked her directly and she felt embarrassed even more. 

"I hate you!" she mouthed. 

"And I still want you!" He brought his face close to hers a little, whispering on her lips. This little gesture made her heartbeat accelerate. 

That little gesture cleared the doubt in the crowd's mind, who screamed happily, seeing how romantic the eldest son of Reid was with his wife. 

Like a shock to everyone,  money of different currencies began falling from choppers in the sky "Oh God" the large crowd explained, and that was all it took to get everyone falling on themselves, even the press questioning the alleged couples of earlier scampered away from the duo. 

Corbin pushed a card into the stunned Ida's hand "Call me if you are ready to take my offer" he said having her confused. 

"Wh..what offer?" 

Taking her hand again, he brought it close to his lips, before putting her middle finger in his mouth "Be mine, and you'll get anything you want" He said before releasing her finger from his lips. 

"You have three days to decide Ms. Schaeffer," Corbin said before getting into the car that had stopped in front of them. 

"You are crazy" She shouted at the car, befor it zoomed off.
