Chapter Twenty Eight

Alina slowly tried to step out of the bed. But she couldn't do it because of the heavy pain in her head. Her arm was slightly healed. But the hit she got from the steel rod was still so painful to bear. She lost her balance when she tried to move forward.

“Careful Alina” she tried to maintain a normal face seeing him holding her protectively. He carefully held her by the waist and made her sit on the bed.

“What's so hurry love? Can't you wait until I come? What if you get hurt again?” He scolded her in a concerned way. She was supposed to take complete bed rest for the next few days. Such attempts are strictly prohibited.

“I need to go out, I can't keep lying on this bed, it's affecting me mentally” She conveyed her issue. Lying like a patient is something she never liked. And that in front of him. It's giving negative thoughts in her mind.
